  My daughter, who has autism, decided to try the gravity ropes course with her aunt. When it came time to swing across to the other side, she became very scared and was unable to continue the course — she was even too frightened to turn around. The young man assisting them, Justin, was absolutely amazing. Without hesitation, he calmly helped my daughter make her way safely back to the start of the course. He was incredibly kind, patient, gentle, and understanding with my little girl. He truly turned what could have been a stressful experience into a positive one and made our night so much better. Thank you so much, Justin!

  It was perfect for my children to celebrate their sibling's birthday. The food was awesome. We went on a Monday, so majority of the activities were fairly priced. We will definitely be back sooner than later.

  We went there for a birthday party in a group of almost 20. Everything went pretty well with our orders, but when it came time to pay it was a mess. The waiter was having major issues separating our checks. After waiting 40 minutes we just offered to pay the whole check ourselves and have the group Venmo us the money. The sad thing is the manager just sat there at bar and offered the guy who was struggling no help. I felt real bad for the guy struggling when manager would not help him. We won’t be back.

  I'm not a fan of leaving bad reviews, but Main Event in Avon Ohio has some serious issues and desperately needs new management. Last night my wife and I took our son there with friends for his birthday. We stood at the hostess stand for 15 minutes waiting to be seated, we asked 2 or 3 employees for assistance that walked away and did nothing before we finally got seated. We ordered our drinks and then about 10 minutes later we ordered food. We asked our server for our drinks and he said that they should be out in a few minutes. Our food ended up coming out before our drinks, our server Matt was a very nice guy but we could tell that he was getting upset with the bartender so my wife had to walk up to the bar and ask for our drinks. She was greeted by a manger with an attitude that said "i'm working on it" and walked away. Half way through dinner our drinks finally came. The food was barely edible, in fact my daughter had to order a different pizza because the first one was so nasty she wouldn't eat it and my wife took two bites of her food and said i'm done. We then went to play laser tag, half of our guns stopped working during the game and the employee working it was getting frustrated. She said that this is happening all the time and they won't fix them. We decided to try bowling and then found out that you have to reserve a lane first, so we did and went to try the zip line but found out that we had to make a reservation for that as well even though there was no one in line so we made a reservation and then went to the arcade. One third of the games said out of service, one third of the games would allow you to swipe your card and take your credits and then wouldn't work, the remaining one third of the games that did work need maintenance or calibration. We finally got called for zip lining and all of a sudden there was a line that we had to wait in and then we got called for bowling. They told us that we had to choose one or the other or reserve another time for one of them so we went zip lining. We were so frustrated that we decided to leave afterwards. We took the kids to check their cards for points to go to the gift shop only to find out that the cards didn't register points even though we witnessed a few of the kids got 500 point markers on the games and took pictures for our sons birthday they still wouldn't give the kids their points. Main event has a great concept and could be a really fun place for kids to have fun, but they have some serious staffing and maintenance issues that needs to be resolved. We will take our business to Dave and Busters from now on.

  Yesterday evening was my very first experience at the Main Event in Avon. First, I'd like to give a shoutout to our server Tori and the team who took care of our table. We had 11 people for a party and the service for us was great! The food was excellent and everything we needed was taken care of. The bowling alley and gaming area was very clean and the atmosphere throughout the entire facility was really fun. There is plenty to do inside for everyone. Very grateful for this experience and will definitely be back again in the near future!
