Its McDonald and we dont eat at McDonald very often but my grandkids love to stop here every year in our way back from a Kings Island vacation and the same guy that works there is absolutely awesome, I've never seen such great service than at this McDonalds. They actually care about servicing thier customers.

I debated rather to post this but after tonight's visit I absolutely am. I went thru the drive thru last week. I witnessed a girl whom acted like she was the "boss" speaking to a young blonde employee in such a rude demeaning manner. She was telling her she has to speed up or move over let someone who is capable to do the job. The young girl looked like she was about to cry trying to explain them clearing the orders before they go out the door confuses her. When the young girl handed me my food you could tell she felt defeated. I told her to cheer up it would get better. She smiled and explained she was new and it was her first job. I wished her the best, she thanked me and I went on. Regardless how the staff was treating her she kept a smile, said nothing negative about them and was polite to me making sure I was taken care of. Then tonight I go inside and witness the same young girl being treated poorly by another staff member. This time a boy with red hair. He rudely told her to go take orders pointing at the register. She told him she was doing something and not completely trained on register asking if he do it or show her. He refused to help teach her. Mind you all he was just talking on the phone. He wasn't happy to get off the phone but took our orders while still yelling at the girl. The girl looked defeated, I wish I could've gave her a big hug. I think she handled it well but sure wish she would've stood up for herself. After our order the red hair guy was back on his phone. Why does he even have his phone on the clock? I decided not to post my first experience because I know sometimes things aren't always what they appear, especially since I spent 40 years in the restaurant business. however after a 2nd incident involving the same girl. I had to speak up. I'm so appalled at that fact they both not only treated her poorly but he did it in front of customers and employees. I'm one person and witnessed it twice in a week. That should worry the company & the manager I can only assume promotes it. I surely hope McDonald's doesn't excuse this behavior. If you want your staff to stay with your company quit talking to them like they're beneath you! Learn how to train them, have conversations about their performance behind close doors without blame and only by the store manager, give new hires a chance, take time to train them appropriately. Remember everyone learns differently. Some need more time. If you high five these employees when doing well and tell them great job they will work harder for you. It also boosts their confidence in their position.

In my experience, this is the fastest McDonald's in the Athens area and the one that makes the fewest mistakes with my orders. The staff keeps things moving, and I've had consistently good service. If you're looking for a quick meal without the usual hassle, this is the location I'd recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
