    I work throughout NE Ohio daily. I frequent Tropical Smoothie 3-4 times a week. This West Market St location is the worse. I ordered a smoothie through the app about 15 minutes away. When I get there, the worker said she was putting stock away and wasn’t able to make my smoothie when it came in. I asked for a refund since this has happened twice in a 2 month spans and I was in a hurry. First she refunded me $6.07. I told her she shorted me. She then gave me another dollar and said she forgot to give me the tip back. I said, “ma’am, you owe me $8.75. Meanwhile, I do a negative review from the receipt. A GM or owner calls me about my refund, not my experience I just received. He stressed that the store doesn’t give cash refunds. He stated the worker got wrote up because she gave me cash from her pockets. I told him that was not my concern and next time, ask the customer about the complaint. Internal discipline isn’t my concern. Then he tells me that I was rude to the staffer and he can go look at the recording. I informed him that he should have done that before calling me. This location can’t keep managers and I see why.

    I live so close to here and I’m literally always here. Last year it was so good. Service was a 10/10, food was always great. Now it’s not that good. Recently I did an online order, mines was the first order to come through because my receipt was at the very top of the rest of the receipts. The two ladies in there did not prioritize my order and instead made everybody else’s orders that were coming in. Mind you, my order was just visibly sitting on the back counter incomplete. 15 minutes after they served everybody else, I asked for a refund. Neither of them knew how to do a refund. All of these new people with a lack of customer service skills are making me no longer want to support this business. Today I placed an online order, I went in and the same lady I saw from last time was in there. She didn’t greet me, she was on her phone leaned over the counter, and just totally unapproachable. Why are we leaned over on the counter ON OUR PHONE, while making and preparing food?

    I arrived around 10:15 order a smoothie and a food item both of the workers were on their phones the entire time.. I got up to see if my food was and both workers were just on the phone. The worker just stared at me when I was asking for my food. I waited almost 20 minutes to get my food and there was no one in front of me. I definitely won’t be back.
