  Today was our 46th anniversary and we chose Flemings to celebrate for dinner. Christa was our server. We started with champagne and she suggested a French rose that was sweet enough for my wife. Dinner was perfectly timed. Shrimp, salad, then entrees at just the right times. At my inquiry, she suggested an American whiskey for my old fashioned instead of my usual Canadian blend and it was a good choice. We had steak and lobster, both perfectly prepared. Christa was attentive but not overly so, as my wife and I had much to remember and talk about. Dinner could not have been better. Christa even called for our car from the valet and it was running and cooled down by the time we left. This was a perfect dinner and well worth the price. We will ask for Christa when we return. A night to remember.

  We enjoyed celebrating a birthday there. Wonderful appetizer and meal. We did the Cavaier appetizer it was wonderful. Fun and tasty on Bellini cakes. The staff is kind and friendly. They make an occasion amazing

  Ok, we received gift cards to Fleming's as a Christmas present from our kids. It took us a while to get around to actually going there. This is our first time to Fleming's. I've been to a few high-end steakhouses across the country and at this price point it should have been a place where your first bite of steak was an ah moment. But I have to say that this steak to me was on a level of something that I could get at consumer priced steakhouses. When I go to a high-end steakhouse, I expect the meat to be the star of the show, not the spices put on it which to me were equal to season all. Crab stuffed shrimp that came with my steak were actually very good. I guess in summary this steakhouse was okay but not nearly worth the money they charge, hence the reason for my rating. On the positive side, I have to say that everyone that waited on us from the valet kid to the waitress provided exceptional service. Our waitress did ask us how our steaks were and I did not complain about the quality versus price because they were okay and I just did not feel like complaining last night, and really what could be done about that anyway? So going forward i will not return here because I could make a steak in a frying pan that is a little better than this and I really don't mean that as an insult, I am just being truthful. I'm an engineer by trade, 64 yrs old, I love to cook and I get it right half the time if I start with a prime cut. I just want to make people aware that if you want to prioritize ambiance over food quality versus price then this is a great place. But if you want food that's worth the price. You may want to really consider somewhere else. Thanks.
