Wow!!! I was sooooo happy to see they were open at 9am lol!!!!! Can you say taco heaven! 🌮 lol ofcourse I tried 1 of each, one steak, one carnitas, and one al pastor! Favors were good! Omg I immediately wanted to go get more. Great tacos!! No compliants and totally recommend a try!
I am so mad that I did not come here sooner! This is some of the best homemade Mexican food in all of Northeast Ohio. My boyfriend and I were immediately greeted by everyone in the restaurant and everyone was so kind. We are local to the area and I am so glad I finally got to try this place out. My boyfriend and I got the tacos with birria beef, carnitas, ground beef, and al pastor. We also got the rice, street corn, and a quesadilla. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. I will be back to try the birria tacos. You’re missing out if you haven’t been here yet!

We came here for our 1 year anniversary after a long hike in the park and it was the rare time my husband got sentimental with me, I think it was because of the magic of the food here! We came back in two weeks, even for a 50 minute drive from Cleveland, our home, because we kept thinking about the birria tacos!! The family that owns it is super sweet and very hospitable, I can't recommend this place enough!!
Wow this place is fantastic! I ordered the carne asada tacos and man were they good. Normally when I get a local place like this that I’ve never been to before I order online, I’m glad I didn’t hear. The people working were so nice and talked to me while I waited for my tacos to be made. I will 100% be back!
RUN! Do not walk! To Carnitas and Tacos Akron (886 Canton Rd). So thankful to find this gem for lunch today. The owner told us, "The food here is NOT authentic, its HOMEMADE. It's what I would make for my family and those I love who eat in my home."
Well, folks, her family eats well!!! Carol ordered two beef tacos that were wonderful. We each had a chicken tamale, which were huge and served with sour cream and cheese ("Like I do at home," said the owner). I ordered a carnitas torta. It. Was. Humongous. And yummy! Barely finished half. We'll eat the rest for dinner. Or for lunch tomorrow. And it won't be long before we return. It's a take-out business, though we ate at one of only five seats at a window counter. Oh, and the owner gave us samples of their street corn. Though stuffed we managed to eat the half cups. Yum! And as we left, we ask two guys who came in if they'd been here before. They looked at each other sheepishly and then said, "Yes, nearly every day."
