I live in this neighborhood and I have gone here to place an order for fry chicken, fish and cake on several occasions and I am always told that they are booked. I have tried 1 week ahead of when I needed the items and it is always the same story. This has been happening for the past year. I am not sure what is going on but they need to fix it. This is the stop and shop in Springfield Gardens.

After taking the time to bring my coins to be counted and receiving a coin receipt, I was informed that I could not cash it because the customer service register had been closed approximately two hours before the store’s posted closing time.This is literally my third day coming back This was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating, especially since there was no clear notice or warning provided beforehand. To make matters worse, the staff members I spoke with were unhelpful, dismissive, and came across as rude rather than attempting to assist or offer a solution. Customers should be able to expect courteous service and have store services available during advertised business hours. This experience left me feeling upset, disappointed, and undervalued as a customer, and I hope management takes steps to improve both customer service and communication regarding service desk hours.
