  They short-weight you on meat. I weigh my meat at home after I get it from the supermarket. During a week of sales, I went twice. Both times, the meat I got was less than the weight on the package. I know about evaporation and whatever, and it won't be exact; this was not that. This was off by maybe half a pound. I go to ShopRite as well, and they have never short-weighted me. Subtract a star. The prices here are strangely high, for a "normal" supermarket that is not trying to be bougie like Whole Foods Market. Subtract a star. Other than that, it is very big physically and not crowded (unlike the closest ShopRite at Plainview or Whole Foods at Jericho), so it's a nice shopping-experience. But it doesn't have the selection and variety of ShopRite.

  Large Supermarket, many items, reasonable prices with on sale specials. Clean. I shop the specials.

  I had a really frustrating experience at this location. The store is listed as closing at 10:00 PM, but when I arrived at 9:50 PM, the doors were already locked. There was another customer there who mentioned the doors had been locked even earlier, which suggests the store is closing well before its posted hours. What’s even more concerning is that this doesn’t seem like a one-time issue. There were a few people in the parking lot who said this happens regularly, which makes it even more frustrating for customers trying to plan around the stated hours. I understand staff need time to wrap up, but closing 10–15 minutes early without notice is not acceptable—especially for customers who rely on those posted hours. To make matters worse, when I asked an employee outside why the doors were locked early, I was told, “If it’s locked, it’s locked,” which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Meanwhile, employees were already leaving the store around 9:50 PM. If the store intends to stop allowing customers in before 10:00 PM, that should be clearly communicated and reflected in the hours. Otherwise, this is misleading and inconvenient for customers.
