  I am submitting a formal complaint regarding an extremely disturbing experience with the manager at the Five Guys in Yonkers on Central Avenue. I contacted the restaurant to request a refund after receiving the wrong order. I simply wanted the issue resolved. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager immediately became hostile and began yelling at me over the phone. Rather than acknowledging the incorrect order or attempting to resolve the issue, she repeatedly interrupted me, refused to take responsibility, made excuses, and shifted the blame onto me. Throughout the call, she was argumentative, confrontational, and would not allow me to explain the situation. What was especially concerning was that, completely unprompted and unrelated to the conversation, she referred to my family as "Chinese," despite that not being our ethnicity. She also used profanity toward us, continued yelling, made accusations against me, and made statements that I perceived as threatening. I was simply requesting a refund for an incorrect order, and I found her behavior intimidating, disrespectful, and unacceptable. While receiving the wrong order was frustrating, the manager's conduct during this interaction was far more serious. No customer should be yelled at, subjected to inappropriate remarks, cursed at, or made to feel threatened while attempting to resolve a legitimate customer service issue. I request that Five Guys conduct a thorough investigation into this incident, including reviewing any available phone recordings and speaking with the employees who were working at the time. I also request to be informed of the outcome of your investigation and any corrective action taken. This experience was extremely upsetting, especially given that this behavior came from someone in a management position. I hope Five Guys takes this matter seriously and takes steps to ensure that no other customer is treated this way.

  OMG... THE WORST FAST FOOD RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN IN. I WALKED IN AT 12:50. I WAITED TWENTY FIVE MINUTES. NO FOOD. SIX PEOPLE CAME IN AFTER ME AND THEY GOT THEIR FOOD BEFORE ME. SMFH. ONE OF THE EMPLOYEE SAID THAT IT'S COMING UP.MEANWHILE, MY BURGER IS IN A BAG SITTING ON A COUNT WAITING FOR FRENCH FRIES.BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE FRENCH FRIES MADE. I HAD TO GIVE YOU A STAR BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T LET ME DO ZERO STARS , THE WORST RESTAURANT IN WHITE PLAINS TO EAT AT. WE'LL NEVER EAT AT NONE OF YOUR CHAINS AGAIN.

  Really nice staff! The food came quick and was delicious. I don’t know about you, but 5 Guys makes yummy hotdogs!

  im actually so upset with the service and order i received. i know i went there before closing but this could have been handled in so many different ways. I ordered 3 patty melts & one hot dog. hot dog was plain literally, whoever was the manager physically slapped his hands on his lap with an annoyed attitude. i then repeated my order 5x to the person who was taking it & STILL did not receive anything close to what i wanted. i paid extra for them to add bacon & none of my burgers had even one piece of bacon. you could have simply stated "listen, we are closing in x minutes and are not accepting any orders." & i would have rather HEARD THAT THAN PAYING OVER $50 FOR MY FOOD AND NOT GETTING ANYTHING I WANTED!! I will be back tomorrow & either you're going to give me my money back or give me the missing items on all my burgers. i don't care, it's the principle.

  I found a roach in my burger wrapper 🤬 And when I brought it to the worker's attention they were nonchalant and dismissive. I'm disgusted 🤢 Nasty trash "food" served by rats that somehow learned how to walk. Frequent this location at your own risk. I will never come here again and I hope they shut this location down.
