  Went here on one of the first nice days of the season. The vibes are perfect and the food is amazing. Wonderful cocktails, amazing attentive and funny servers, and the food is fantastic. I have passed by this place a million times and finally decided to give it a try. Will 100% be back. Must try place

  Andrew was our server today and he was giving all customers great service despite being a server and bar tender all in one. He was very quick with getting our orders in and making sure everything was to our liking. Amazing service all around!

  Allergy ignorant! I have had a shellfish allergy for 20 years but LOVE carne asada and chicken tacos. Then Cinco de Mayo falls on taco Tuesday so heck yeah.. I’m in! Unfortunately in 20 years I have never seen a staff more ignorant of a shellfish allergy. First time here so I don’t think they WANTED to kill me but service would say otherwise. Waiter, manager were both oblivious and literally brought tacos out family style with shrimp. Come on man! With 20 locations is a lil training too much to ask!

  First off I just like to say that the meal was absolutely positively amazing. My favorite taco would have to be the Birria because the meat was perfectly cooked and had so much flavor, but all of the tacos were amazing. For dessert we had both the churros and Tres Leche and they were the best for the tres leches it was so so perfectly made better than any Tres leches I’ve ever had. The churros didn’t taste like some artificial sugary treat like other restaurants. The chocolate sauce was absolutely beautiful. It had a hint of coffee and wasn’t too sweet, it was the perfect dessert. The service was by far the best. Our server/manager was so nice and he did an amazing job.

  We’ve been coming to Tacombi every week for the past year, and it’s become a treasured part of our routine. Our little toddler loves it just as much as we do—he dances to the music, and one of the ladies behind the bar even gave him the shaker he was watching so he could try it himself. Those moments matter. The food arrives at the table quickly, and the staff is genuinely friendly with real team spirit. They always go out of their way to make us feel welcomed—the vibe here is truly special. The portions are on the smaller side, but you’re getting quality food that’s worth every bite. We’re so grateful for this location, the manager, and the entire team. You’ve created something really special. We honestly view this place as our saving grace and one of the better restaurants on Long Island. I’m sad and disappointed to see such poor reviews online, because they don’t reflect the experience we have here week after week. We also buy your tortillas at Whole Foods—they’re the cleanest, best-tasting tortillas money can buy, with no fillers. Please don’t change a thing. This review is long overdue. We love you, Tacombi; and we’ll see you next week :)
