I always have a great experience at CAVA in Westbury! The food is consistently fresh, and they’re always generous with the bowl portions. My favorite is the chicken and rice bowl—it’s delicious every time. Gigi at the register was especially friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Great food, great service, and I’ll definitely be back!
The staff here are stingy with portions and provide poor customer service — they won’t look at you if you’re trying to ask for something. I ordered a half meatball, half falafel plate, and I got two tiny scraps. The portions were so small it was hard to even tell what I’d ordered. This is unacceptable for the price point. I’d avoid this location going forward.
The food was really good, but I feel that the prices are too high for what you are getting. I was still hungry after my meal because they don't add enough protein. Also, I do not like the quality of their chicken and steak. It's definitely not good quality. It was fatty as well. I love that they do have fresh produce. The sauces are amazing. I just wish they didn't use seed oils and canola oil. I wish they can switch to avocado oil or olive oil.

This was my first time ever visiting CAVA, and I was genuinely excited because I had heard so many great things. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing and honestly disturbing.
While ordering my food, I watched one of the employees eating directly from the food preparation area while serving customers. Seeing an employee continuously eating around the food being prepared was extremely unsanitary and made me question the cleanliness of the entire operation.
I was told I had to wait a few minutes for my pita chips to finish cooking, which I had no problem with. However, while I waited, I noticed other customers receiving pita chips before me. When I politely asked the cashier about it, she was very helpful and explained that mine were a different flavor. She then asked an employee named Cindy if they would be ready soon. Cindy looked directly at me, mumbled something, laughed, and continued eating instead of responding professionally.
The restaurant itself also appeared messy and unkempt, which only added to my concerns. Between the lack of professionalism, the unsanitary behavior, and the overall condition of the restaurant, I left feeling disgusted and extremely disappointed. This experience completely changed my opinion of CAVA, and unfortunately, I will not be returning.
