  Saw this place and decided to try it out. Was not disappointed at all. You will have to wait due to the high demand of their food, so go when you have some time to spare. Everything was fresh and they turn out food constantly. My only gripe is that the ones packing the food do need to hustle a bit more, but besides that, everything was great and I will be a repeat customer.

  Legitimately some of the best food on Long Island. Unbelievable. Friendly workers, clean and orderly, and incredible food. Zero complaints. Just make sure you're not impatient because the food is made with care and it's gonna be packed sometimes because it DESERVES to be. I'd wait an extra hour for this food if I had to. Legitimately, if you're reading this review go there. Like now. Stop reading reviews and come. There's no time to waste.

  Angie’s Soul House is truly a gem! The customer service is phenomenal, even with customers constantly coming in and out, the staff remains friendly, attentive, and welcoming. And the food is absolutely delicious! Every dish tastes like a home cooked meal prepared with love. You can truly feel the care in both the food and the service. I highly recommend Angie’s Soul House and will definitely continue coming back for catering and personal platters.

  An hour and a half to wait for 3 meals. Receipt said 6:05 walked out with bag in hand 7:43pm. Shrimp with double Mac and cheese, oxtail with yams and rice and peas, and honey fried chicken with rice & peas and collards. Not an apology or at very least a freebie for the wait. Call ahead-ahead (at very least an hour) I guess! Understand its good food although portions could be bigger especially for that amount of wait, there were like 6 ladies and 3 gentleman behind counter really busy and still waited soooo long. I do not see this experience worth it again in my humble opinion. Especially commuting farther than 30 minutes to get take out. Our plan was get food go to local scenic spot and enjoy, but we were eating in car so angry and hungry that it is just not worth the potential of repeating experience.

  I enjoyed the food overall. The candied yams were sweet and flavorful, and the mac and cheese was tasty as well. The fried honey chicken was just okay. The inside of the chicken didn’t have much flavor, but the crispy skin with the honey was really good. There was a very long wait time, but they cook everything fresh, so it’s understandable. My main gripe with this place, especially as a first-time visitor, was how overly loud the music was. I could barely hear the cashier taking my order, and she could barely hear me because they were blasting the music so loudly. That really irritated me when I walked in. This isn’t a lounge, and it’s not even a sit-down restaurant its a takeout spot. Why are you blasting music that loudly while people are trying to order food? I didn’t even know what songs were playing because it was just loud noise. I was trying to focus on the menu, but I kept getting more annoyed because I couldn’t even ask questions without yelling. We literally had to yell back and forth just to communicate. Absolutely ridiculous. Maybe it’s a silly reason to dislike a place, but I don’t want to be yelling just to order food and risk the cashier hearing something incorrectly. Then I’d have to wait another hour for the wrong meal simply because we couldn’t hear each other properly. I don’t live in the area, but if I did, I honestly wouldn’t return based on that alone. The food was decent, but having loud, blaring music in a takeout restaurant for absolutely no reason really took away from the experience. Perhaps the music being that loud was a one-off situation and isn’t normally like that. However, I did tell the cashiers multiple times that it was very loud in there, and their responses made it seem like this might actually be a regular thing. I’m not sure, but either way, it was extremely irritating and unnecessary
