In an area as saturated with pizza as the Hudson Valley is, it can be difficult to stand out, especially as a newer pizzeria. However, Stone’s absolutely knocks it out of the park for me, certainly the best pie in this area without a doubt. They’ve got it set between offering creative twists on round pies while also holding it down on the classics like a perfectly greasy NY-style cheese slice. The garlic knots were a bit dryer than I normally like but I can’t knock them for how solid the pizza and Caesar salad were. Pricier than some of the other joints nearby but I will pay it every time if Stone’s keeps delivering this same quality product, you can taste it in the damn dough!

Ordered a Buffalo chicken slice and a chicken cutlet slice. No exaggeration but Stone' slices are pretty much the best in and around Wappingers. I make it a point to come visit them whenever i feel like getting pizza. Ingredients are as good as they get and these guys are really passionate about what they do. Great ingredients are not just a marketing gimmick here you actually taste the difference. You just have to look at the cooler to see that these guys are not playing. Highly recommend.

I've tried just about every pizza place in the area, and they're hands down the best. You can immediately taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients—they don't cut corners, and it shows in every bite. The crust is perfectly crisp, the sauce is flavorful, and everything tastes fresh. Their commitment to high-quality ingredients and long-fermented dough really sets them apart.
My personal favorites are the YoYo and the Stone pizzas. The YoYo has an amazing balance of flavors, and the Stone with the hot honey drizzle is absolutely incredible.
If you're looking for the best pizza in the Hudson Valley, this is the place. Highly recommended!
Stopped in with my wife to get a few slices, it was later in the day and the amount of available types of slices was great. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was good and you can definitely tell they have a good rapport with the regulars. The slices weren't too thin. They weren't too thick and they were just crispy enough. Looking forward to stopping back when I'm in the area again.

As a chef and a self-proclaimed pizza snob, it takes a lot to impress me. I make my own dough, I’m picky about ingredients, and I’m constantly chasing the perfect slice.
Stones Pizza absolutely delivered.
The crust was perfectly crisp while still having an incredible chew. The sauce was balanced, flavorful, and tasted like it was made with real care. Every bite had that “just one more” effect.
We tried five different slices, and honestly, every single one was excellent. Our favorites were the Triple Threat and the Classic Pepperoni, but the Sicilian slices were phenomenal too. They even tossed in a White Pizza with Pesto for us to try…
Chef’s kiss. 🤌🔥
The quality of the ingredients was obvious from the first bite. Fresh, flavorful, and executed perfectly.
What made it even better was the experience. The place is on the smaller side, but the atmosphere is awesome. The smell of fresh pizza hits you the second you walk through the door. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, and despite being busy nonstop, they kept everything moving.
Our son absolutely loved the little play pizza kitchen, which made the visit even more enjoyable for our family. They also have a fun selection of craft bottled sodas that paired perfectly with the pizza.
For $36 (plus tax) we got five huge slices and three bottled sodas, which felt like an incredible value considering the quality.
We didn’t drive all the way from Missouri just for this pizza…
…but after today, I’d seriously consider making the trip. 😂🍕
Without question, this is Top 5 pizza I’ve ever had in my life, and that’s saying something.
If you’re anywhere near Dutchess County, do yourself a favor and stop at Stones Pizza. We’ll be back every single chance we get.
