- JPJohn P5 days ago1.0Unfortunately, my experience at the Burger King inside the Apple-Green Travel Stop in Modena, New York was disappointing. I was trying to redeem Burger King reward points that were about to expire. The app clearly showed the reward was available, I found the location and stepped through, generated the redemption code, and attempted multiple times to use it at the kiosk without success. When I asked for help, the manager, “J”, (don’t want to get him fired) immediately said no and would not even attempt to troubleshoot or explain the issue. The interaction made me feel more like I was bothering him than a customer asking for assistance. What was especially frustrating was that the app itself was functioning perfectly — I was even able to place a paid order through it and receive my food! Clearly there was some level of system connectivity as you can also see in my photos. The disappointing part is that this easily could have been handled with a little effort or basic customer service. Instead, I ended up paying for something I likely should have been able to redeem for free using points I had already earned and that were close to expiring. A little patience and willingness to help would have made a big difference. Moreover corporate needs to do something about such locations at these rest stops. The prices are way too high and there is too much difference between a normal franchise and these! Makes me wonder…
- RRRon RedmondMay 1, 20261.0They gave me cold, hard as a rock, “food”, when I asked for a refund they took the food and threw it away. Then told me I couldn’t have a refund or more food. Had to get the police involved since it wasn’t a cheap order.
