- JWjade wolferJul 24, 20262.0My boyfriend and I went through the drive-thru, and yes, I'll admit he submitted the mobile order a little late. That said, it was for two refreshers—not exactly a catering order. He apologized at the speaker, and the immediate response from one of the employees was, "No, no, don't do that, sir," followed by laughter from one or two staff members as we pulled away. A warm welcome, apparently. When we got to the window, the same employee greeted us with, "We're not robots, give us five minutes." Ironically, our order was handed to us about a minute later. I completely understand that placing a mobile order late can be inconvenient, and I don't expect instant service. What I do expect is a basic level of professionalism. A simple "We'll have it ready in a few minutes" would have gotten the point across just fine—without the commentary or the audience participation.
