I’m going to be brutally honest: this restaurant needs to seriously reconsider whether it should even be open. The number of problems here is ridiculous, and this isn’t based on one bad experience — this has happened multiple times.
I’ve gone there after 12 PM only to find the restaurant closed, while their online ordering platform was already accepting orders before 12 PM. How does that even make sense? If you’re not open and ready to serve customers, stop accepting orders. People are wasting their time showing up because your own system says you’re open.
Then there’s the constant issue of running out of food. Even during times when the restaurant isn’t busy, they somehow don’t have basic menu items available.
And honestly, even when you actually manage to get your food, it’s not worth the hassle. The food is bland, lacks flavor, and is incredibly inconsistent. One visit might be somewhat acceptable, while the next tastes completely different and disappointing. There’s no consistency in the quality, which makes it hard to justify coming back.
You also can’t even count on getting chips for purchase, which seems like an incredibly basic thing for a restaurant to have available.
The hours are completely unreliable. You never really know if they’re going to be open, if they’ll actually have the food you want, or if they’ll be prepared to serve you.
Then there’s the cleanliness. The restaurant is always dirty. It doesn’t give you the impression that cleanliness and proper management are priorities.
What made the experience even more frustrating was dealing with Chipotle customer care. I reached out for help and provided my receipt as requested. I hadn’t even had a chance to explain what was wrong with my order yet when the representative suddenly told me that the case was closed and the interaction was now closed. That was it. No explanation, no attempt to understand the problem, no opportunity to even tell them what went wrong with the order. They didn’t even give me a chance to explain the issue before ending the conversation. That is an unbelievable level of disregard for a customer.
At some point, this stops being an occasional bad day and starts looking like a pattern of poor management, poor preparation, poor customer service, and a complete lack of consistency.
Honestly, if a restaurant consistently can’t maintain reliable hours, runs out of food during normal operating hours, isn’t prepared for customers during dinner, doesn’t have basic items available, serves bland and inconsistent food, can’t keep the place clean, and then customer care can’t even be bothered to hear the complaint before closing the case, why is it even open?
I genuinely think this location should close down or completely overhaul the way it’s being run. Customers deserve better than showing up to a restaurant that may or may not be open, may or may not have food, and may or may not be prepared to serve them.
Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually wants your business.
