Extremely unprofessional location. They treat everyone that walks in like a criminal. Mandatory bag checks and eyeing/following you in every aisle. No way to run a neighborhood grocery store at all. The energy is always hostile. Don't run a neighborhood grocery store if you're not going to treat your neighbors with dignity and respect.

Consider before shopping: this location isn’t very good. Anything you can purchase from this store can easily be found elsewhere - fresher and cheaper cheaper.

In my experience visiting this store multiple times, bag checks aren’t applied evenly — who gets stopped seems to depend on appearance and time of day. On my last visit, an employee (photo 1) told me to open my bag. I declined and left the store.
Once outside, I was voicing my frustration to that employee when a second employee (photo 2) inserted himself and escalated things — getting in my face and telling me he’d physically hurt me if I touched him. I hadn’t hit, kicked, spit, thrown anything, or done anything physical or threatening at any point.
This third guy kept passing by and staring silently. He involved himself, added only tension instead of doing anything to de-escalate the second guy.
Instead of de-escalating, he escalated. And honestly, I believe my race played a part in that — it’s hard not to conclude that speaking up while Black got read as disrespect here, in a way it wouldn’t have from someone else.
No employee should threaten a customer with violence over nothing.
Photos: 1) employee who asked me to open my bag, 2) employee who threatened me outside the store.

Theses idiots, accused my friends mom of stealing. even though they watched her pay for all of her items. She had no basket and her arms were loaded, so she put a candle in her purse, sticking out, and when she got to the counter she paid for it. Even after they saw the footage and saw her receipt the still spoke to her again the next day. they made an old woman cry. she's been going there for years! But had she been a white woman they probably wouldn't have said anything!
