- DKD KJun 30, 20262.0Very disappointing experience. I arrived when there wasn’t much of a line and was told the wait for chicken would be 10–15 minutes. Instead, I waited about 25 minutes and was repeatedly told it would be “just a few more minutes.” I came to realize that 3 tables of people along with others were all waiting for chicken. During that time, they also ran out of brown rice, had no cilantro for the white rice, and were running so low on steak that nearly every protein option became limited. It’s hard to understand how a restaurant with multiple employees working could have virtually no meat prepared. What made it even more frustrating was watching fresh chicken appear to go to online/to-go orders while customers who had already been waiting in the restaurant continued to wait. I understand that inventory issues happen, but this felt like poor preparation and poor communication. Between the inaccurate wait times, missing ingredients, and lack of available food, this was one of the most frustrating Chipotle experiences I’ve had. Management and ownership needs to do a much better job planning and communicating with customers.
