  I wanted to like this place so much after reading all the amazing reviews. Let me just preface my review by saying the pizza was not for me. It wasn’t bad. But it was not what I expected. We ordered two Sicilian slices and one Bee sting and one pepperoni. To start, my husband noted that the ingredients were very fresh tasting. But it fell apart soon after. The Sicilian slices were HEAVY. I thought that the Sicilian slices would be light and airy given the fact that they were made with sourdough crust. They were anything but!! They felt like lead balloons. The bee sting slice, and the pepperoni slice were good. But again the crust was soggy and fell apart. I picked up my bee sting slice, and everything fell off 3/4 of the way from the bottom. My husband liked his crust on his pepperoni slice. Again he said it tasted like quality ingredients. It was burnt and crusty just the way he likes a slice. However, I feel like this was a one and done for us. Normally, I would like to go back and give a second chance, but I’m just not a fan of the sauce either. I felt the sauce was very bitter and this was just not for me. I am sorry if this seems negative to people, but I’m just trying to give a very honest review.

  Had an amazing experience here! We stopped in during the peak lunch rush, and despite how busy it was, the service was absolutely fantastic. The staff was friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly. The pizza was outstanding! It was light, crispy, and incredibly delicious. You could tell it was made with care, and it had that perfect balance of crunch and flavor that makes great pizza stand out. A special bonus was the ice-cold glass bottle Coke. It might seem like a small detail, but it really completed the authentic pizza experience. Great food, excellent service, and an overall fantastic lunch. Can't wait to come back!

  Came here with my family last weekend. Enjoyed the pizza. We tried a little bit or everything. The fig slice was great!

  Great, high quality pizza. Great staff, all very nice and overall amazing service. Amazing variety of different pies. Nothing beats a fresh pie out of the oven from here. Great pizza shop overall.

  One of the best slices I have ever had on the island. Went there at 1pm and at 1 am I'm still thinking about just how good it was. Thin, crispy, quality ingredients, great staff. You can have a couple of slices and not feel heavy or sluggish but some how still satisfied and happy. So good it made me dance in my seat and think of my days with a metro card and a few bucks eating pizza around NYC. I suggest getting a few different slices. The Hype is FOR REAL here. If you're waiting for some reason, don't. On the scale I'd give a 9.1. With there never being a 10 it doesn't get much higher. EDIT the quality does shine here. The attention to detail and ingredients with complexity disguised as simplicity. Going back asap. Its a hour or more drive worthy place. It's nice to see hard work and passion paying dividends. Stop reading this and mangia.
