When I visited on Friday afternoon, the employee preparing my smoothie was dressed in clothing that I felt was completely inappropriate for someone serving food. Her ( what looked like PJ shorts) were so short that she was completely exposed while working in full view of customers!! What made the situation even more shocking was that a manager appeared to be present and did nothing to address it. Whether this is the store's dress code or simply something that was ignored, it reflects very poorly on the management and ownership. Food service employees should be held to basic standards of professionalism and hygiene, and customers should not have to witness something like this while ordering their food. If the employee is as young as she appeared to be, that makes the situation even more concerning. Regardless of her age, it is management's responsibility to ensure employees are dressed appropriately while working. Allowing someone who appears very young to serve customers while dressed in a way that exposes so much of their body demonstrates a serious lack of judgment and supervision. The owners should take responsibility for what is happening in their store. This was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and completely inappropriate for a restaurant environment. I came in expecting a smoothie, not to feel embarrassed by the lack of standards being enforced. I hope the owners address this issue immediately so future customers don't have the same unprofessional experience.
