  Being so close to my home. What was once my favorite supermarket, is now the one I avoid. Solicitors harassing you the second you enter. As of late produce hasn’t been fresh. Examples of cut watermelon having hair in it or being old. Grapes not fresh, bagged sweet potato’s having mold. Pork chops smelled completely rotten when the pack was open at home. Fish months old expired still sitting in the freezer despite informing staff. Many items as of late not in stock either. But now the official nail in the coffin for me was going to get some bread and their own stop and shop brand had flies inside the bag of bread. Completely inexcusable and if you tell an employee they just shrug it off. Not sure if this location is under new management but if, so this individual needs to be booted quick! Until then I’m willing to go to the Bayonne location which is overseen with complete professionalism and courtesy.

  I've been shopping at this Stop & Shop on Richmond Avenue for quite some time, and it has become one of my favorite grocery stores. The store is always clean, well-organized, and has plenty of parking, which makes every visit convenient. What stands out the most is the staff. Every employee I've interacted with has been friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help. Good customer service makes a big difference, and this location consistently delivers. The prices can be a bit higher than Walmart, but I hope that reflects the quality of the products. I also appreciate their weekly sales, which typically run from Friday through the following Thursday. You can easily browse the weekly deals in the Stop & Shop app or pick up a printed flyer in the store. One of my favorite features is the free Stop & Shop GO Rewards program. By scanning your Stop & Shop card in the app at checkout, you earn points on your purchases. I've redeemed these points several times for discounts, such as savings on meat and produce. The app also lets you clip digital coupons, and the discounts are automatically applied at checkout when you scan your card. It's an easy way to save money without any extra effort. Another convenient feature is the bottle and can return area, making it easy to recycle redeemable containers. Overall, I've had nothing but positive experiences at this location. It's clean, well-managed, the staff are consistently welcoming, and the rewards program offers real value. I highly recommend this Stop & Shop to anyone looking for a pleasant grocery shopping experience.

  I shop here alot. But I dont understand why some products are not stocked. They used to have alot of organic vegetables but some vegetables are not stocked. Not sure why. I love this store!

  To start my experience was good, but when we were checking out. I was unsure of the type of tomato the heirloom was, a hot house or a vine, I notice three off duty cashiers nearby. I asked what type of tomato it was considered, instead of just saying what it was, this blonde hispanic cashier got nasty about not being off duty. I didn't ask her to come over just say what it was. As a person who worked for the city of New York for 40 year and retiring out of state, when work here we were taught customer service, and I have answered many a question off duty.

  They really need to re-vamp this location majority of the staff is rude and have no customer service skills. The best thing for me at this location is the deli department and that’s only when mark or this short tatted up woman are working I always forget to ask her name but they make my experience outstanding always great customer service skills polite and knowledgeable of what there job entails…. They are the only reason I still even shop there at all. There’s like 3 other employees there that share that same quality which I will write in a update later this week when I go to shop… management needs to talk to lower management about the laziness employees share when work needs to be done they want to sit around and hold conversation when work needs to be done instead
