I'm pretty picky when it comes to American Chinese food because a lot of places don't get the sauces right. I ordered the General Tso's chicken, beef and broccoli, hot and sour soup, wonton soup, and an egg roll, and honestly everything was solid. The General Tso's chicken was crispy without being overly breaded and had just the right amount of spice. I was actually more surprised by the beef and broccoli because the sauce was really flavorful without being too salty or watered down like a lot of other places. My favorite thing is still the hot and sour soup. It's balanced really well and doesn't go overboard on the vinegar or spice. The wonton soup was also better than expected. I liked that they added BBQ pork to the broth, which gave it a more homemade taste. The egg roll was huge for the price, and their homemade duck sauce was a nice touch. If I had to nitpick, the egg roll was seasoned a little heavier than I would've liked, but it was still good. We live pretty close, but I was still surprised when our food showed up in about 15 minutes. Everything was hot and fresh. Definitely one of the better Chinese takeout spots on Staten Island.
