So I said, “I ordered only one coffee,” and only then did they finally understand and take my order. I don’t know why they had such a hard time understanding me. I’m a middle-aged Korean, but I speak English well. It was a little embarrassing situation. But I think If you want to promote an employee, you have to pay them more. According to the sign on the door, it’s $16 an hour—is the reason why the staff is not proffesional I was going to give a tip to them , but since they didn’t understand what I was saying, I didn’t.

I went for my lunch break for a matcha, while it was HEAVILY raining outside, and I thought I heard the person over the intercom tell me I can begin my order, so I began. She abruptly cut me off in a rude and immature tone, telling me that they are short staffed and I cannot place my order. In a minute or so she said “now you can talk and place your order” VERY RUDELY. I have never went to a place where people have acted like animals or imbeciles. I have been a fast food worker before and have never given anyone this stoic energy. If you don't like your job, it doesn’t mean you have to act on impulse!
