On Monday, August 31, at approximately 4:30 p.m. I brought my aging mom to your location. She had won a gift card to your restaurant at her assisted living facility, and was excited to stop in for an early dinner. This was her (and my my) first time going to an Outback Steakhouse in many, many years. First off, the professionalism and welcoming demeanor of your team was dismal. As I stood at the host’s booth, an employee approached me and said nothing. Just looked at me like they were confused by my presence. Eventually they asked, “You want a table?” Maybe they were new, maybe they genuinely didn’t know what to say. But regardless, this first impression was wildly uninviting. Secondly, and most important, the floors of the entire restaurant were dangerously greasy. My mom ambulates with a walker, and because of the slippery footing, I was concerned for her safety. As she stepped from the entry way, to our table, to the restroom, I had to atypically walk behind her in case the floor caused a slip. All the while she kept saying, “Somebody’s going to fall!” Thank God it wasn’t her. When the meal was complete and it was time to leave, my mom couldn’t stand up from the booth. The floor was too greasy for her feet to find purchase with the ground. They just kept sliding forward as she sought leverage. Instead, I had to hoist her up—which is a dangerous move in any conditions—in order for her to get upright. I don’t generally dine at chain restaurants because, in my experience, they tend to feel impersonal, soulless, and unwelcoming. But my mom is a different story. She loves places like the Outback. And for that reason alone I am happy to take her out. But as we left last night’s visit, she said, “We’re never going there again. Someone’s going to break their neck.” My mom has a low bar for restaurants. So coming from her, this comment speaks volumes. The food was fine (albeit, overpriced). But honestly, whether or not the food was any good is secondary to safety and good service. And yesterday Outback Steakhouse failed on both accounts. Enough to make an 80-year old lady say “never again.”

Food was good , but the service will bring us back to this location. Danica the hostess was so nice and made us all laugh, and even got the door for us when we were leaving , truly makes a difference. Thank you Danica !!

If you like eating leather saturated with salt, come here for your steaks. Beer is about the only thing worth while at Outback. In 30 years, I have yet to been to a good outback in any state. Just awful steaks. Texas Roadhouse blows them away. But I’m a glutton for punishment and keep coming back every once in a while thinking things have changed.

FIRST time ordering from OUTBACK. Food got to the door in time, it was neatly packed, nothing missing. I went first to the "crock" potato soup. Two spoonfuls & I had to stop. I removed a long curly hair caught between the spoon & my mouth- everything was thown out! No one wanted to eat the sweet poatoes/ salmon. I only saved the sweet potatoes because they were wrapped in foil. After reading many disappointing reviews, this will be a first & only order from OUTBACK. 🥺🥺
