I never had Nepali food before and stopped in to try it. The food was VERY GOOD. I asked if they had low salt items on the menu, and they said they can cook it low salt. Service was warm, polite and fast. The food arrived hot, presentation on the plate was beautiful. It tasted just as good as it looked. A positive and enjoyable dining experience.

Overall below average experience unfortunately. The service was pretty good. They were all very friendly and they filled our water frequently. I liked the Buddha painting. But the food was disappointing. We tried the Indian food this time (but we’d be interested in trying the Nepali food if we go back). The dishes came out in good time but the chicken Makhani was too sweet and the lamb Shahi korma was one note. The samosas were okay but not outstanding. The basmati rice low on flavor and the naan wasn’t much above a generic (if decently thin and fresh) flat bread. I’m undecided on the mango lasi. It was heavy on the yogurt and light on the mango taste but I also felt there were some other subtle flavors in there (neither good nor bad) - so really unsure. The hot chai masala tea was good though. All in all everything was fine to below average. Nothing stood out and we’ve had better elsewhere. They were really friendly and kind. And we’re always grateful for that.

We were driving through Rochester and came across this restuarant which can serve indian vegetarian dishes. The staff was very cheerful and welcoming. I loved the smile on his face. We ordered vrg chowmin, thupka, veg dumplings and cheese naan (paneer naan). They make the world's best chowmin and the lemony fkavour is had was something unique and made it the best.. Thupka was tasty too... it was soo flavourful. The paneer naan was so fresh and tasty, it had a perfect texture. Dumplings were ok... I just expected the sauce along it to be way more spicy.
I must visit place gor a flavourful place. My non-indian friend who ate chickrn dish from some othe place had marked this redtuarant to visit here next time she comes with her husband !!

We had a wonderful dinner! We ordered Paneer Naan, veg chow mein, veg dumplings and mango lassi. Everything tasted of comfort food. Made with love and dedication. This place is a hidden gem! And hopefully more people will discover it soon. Will definitely be coming back!
Thank you to the person who was working today (not sure if they are the owner). He was very nice, and the only one working today. Between phone orders and tending to seated costumers, he did it all with grace.

Everest Nepali Restaurant in Rochester is an absolute gem for anyone craving genuine, comforting flavors. OMG! It truly tasted like a home-cooked meal—everything was so authentic, and the seasoning on every single dish was absolutely perfect. You can really taste the care and tradition in their kitchen, from the fragrant, rich curries to the freshly prepared momos. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere makes the experience even better, making it feel less like dining out and more like enjoying a lovingly prepared meal at a family table. It is easily a standout spot in Rochester for incredible Nepali cuisine, and one you'll want to visit again and again.
