I was already in the breakfast drive-thru line before 10:30 and was waiting while the employee took another customer’s order, which was taking quite a while. When it was finally my turn, it was right around 10:30 and I was told I could no longer order breakfast because they had switched over to lunch. What made it even more frustrating was that I literally heard the customer next to me, who was there at the SAME TIME as me, being allowed to order breakfast. Then, while I was speaking with the employee about it, someone came outside and physically changed the menu over. So clearly, I had been sitting there while the breakfast menu was still up, but because their line took too long, I was the one who was denied breakfast when there was only 2 of us in line. I understand that breakfast ends at a certain time, but if customers are already in your drive-thru line before the cutoff, especially when the delay is caused by how long it takes to get through the line, there should be some consistency and common sense. Allowing one customer to order breakfast and then denying another customer who was there at the same time is unfair and feels like terrible customer service. It wasn’t even just about the breakfast at that point it was the way the situation was handled. Very disappointing experience, especially from Chick-fil-A, where I normally expect much better customer service.

Upon getting to the ordering kiosk in the drive thru, the employee informed us they were out of hash browns. This made the trip much worse already as the hash browns are our kids favorites. We ordered anyways, and the food was ok. They forgot to give us the breakfast salsa we asked for. I forgot to order a chicken and waffle thing one of my kids asked for and when going inside, the employee (at 10:32am) informed me it's lunch time and that the chicken and waffle lunch sandwich is around 3 dollars more than the breakfast one but he could not explain the difference. Also, he seemed new as he didn't know where the breakfast salsa was. Overall one of my worst experiences at Chick fila.
