- ARAndrew Jimenez Rivera2 days ago1.0I’m a regular customer at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Hampton Bays, and I’ve always had a good experience there. Because of that, I decided to try the Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Riverhead for the first time on May 18 around 4:00 PM. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I ordered two smoothies and a flatbread, and ended up waiting about 35 minutes just for the flatbread. When I politely asked one of the employees about the wait time, instead of responding professionally, he started yelling and told me that they were “not a fast food restaurant” and that it would take another 15–20 minutes. I work in the restaurant industry myself specifically in fine dining in the Hamptons so I completely understand that delays can happen. However, even in our restaurant, main courses are often served faster than the wait time I experienced for a flatbread. What disappointed me most was not just the delay, but the way the situation was handled. Customer service and professionalism matter, especially when addressing paying customers who are simply asking for an update. This was my first visit to the Riverhead location, and unfortunately it will also be my last. I hope management takes customer feedback seriously and improves both efficiency and staff professionalism moving forward.

- TCTraci ConfortiFeb 16, 20265.0I want to share that on Sunday 2/15 Anna was working al by herself and did such and AMAZING 10/10 job serving each and everyone with a smile and with the most courtesy , watching her navigate through everyone's order and seeing a line she never lost her cool she handled it all making it look so easy when i know it must have been stressful , she is an BIG ASSET and she Deserves a Raise !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
