  Okay? So I am a female owned business owner in the village of Red Hook. I purchased my daughters in 11 week. Old puppy that never rides in a shopping cart. Always rides in my shirt l o l cute as a button. I've been in the store for literally. The last five days and not one person has said anything nasty or negative. This morning I went to get my breakfast and because it's cold outside. I chose not to leave my eleven week old puppy in the car, not like she stays in the car at any given time. Because I'm a business owner and I'm on the go. I have to bring her with me so that I can properly potty train and socialize and teacher because I can't stay home and not work. So she goes everywhere with me. She's very well behaved, she's never done an accident in my car or in my home, and this morning, the manager Debbie decided to tell me that dogs are not allowed. My understanding along the way here, and there's plenty of people that bring their dogs in. This store is that dogs cannot be in the shopping carts, so i'm very cautious. Not to put her in a shopping cart. I never wanted to write anything like this about hannahford, because this was one of my favorite stores to shop in, considering it's very local to my house. But because of their inhumane ways they'd like us to treat our animals or our pets that are still training. And we can't leave them at home, because otherwise we're not good pet parents, and she's a poodle, so she likes to be sociable. I don't think it's right that people who are trying to be good pet parents and not leave their dog in a car because it's freezing cold. And they're just 11 weeks old or somebody that has an emotional support friend. It's so that they can't bring them with them. Because an emotional support friend is there to keep that person calm and relaxed. So I guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere. And I probably will never step foot in the store again. It's sad because i've done a lot of business with Hannaford. Would she leave her human child in a car? That's cold, but then again, Debbie has a problem with anybody that's not like her. Miserable, and she likes to make the entire world around her miserable. They really should replace this manager. Because not one store except for this one. And that includes the remaining balance of the hand of words in the area have had anything negative to say. My question here is, does she tell every good pet owner to not bring their dog into their store? That might be the reason why your ratings are going down for your insincerity. To your customers. From here on out, I will bring my business to tops friendly markets. Because at least they're friendly about pets. And i'm sorry babies. I've never seen it company against so upset. Over a little tiny puppy that let's see was not put in a shabby cart was not put down on the floor didn't it pee in their store? Didn't poop in their store didn't even bark in their store. And I am not the only person that's ever had. Their dog in the store. Now, one time have I seen these managers saying anything about other people? And their dogs, except for the ones that like to put them inside the shopping cart. So i'm not sure what this lady's problem is, but she needs to treat her customers with a little bit more respect. Remember, have fun with what you're doing. And keep it real, because, you know, I deal with each and every review. Sincerely yours The real deal

  Uncomfortable experience at the seafood counter ​I am leaving this review to bring an uncomfortable interaction in the seafood department at Hannerford's in Redhook NY, to management's attention. While placing an item back into the freezer display, a staff member from behind the fish counter approached me and commented that I looked like I was struggling, which was not the case. ​After I declined assistance, the employee continued to stand nearby and closely monitor me while I finished selecting my items. Being singled out and watched so closely while simply browsing created an unwelcoming atmosphere. I hope management uses this feedback to review customer engagement practices and ensure all shoppers are treated with respect and allowed to shop comfortably without unnecessary monitoring.

  Its Hannafords, some stuff is good, most stuff is overpriced. It is what it is.
