  On a Sunny Sunday afternoon, while strolling on Vernon Blvd. I Stumbled across this beautiful family styled restaurant tucked away on 48th Avenue in the Dumbo area of Queens. The customer service was naturally appealing as the welcomed you with joy. The owner patrols the floor to ensure that his customers are satisfied, as he sets the tone the staff follows suit. I ordered the insalata con pera as the appetizer. It was loaded with field greens, pears, walnuts, cranberries and goat cheese. It was delightful and satisfying. The entree was spectacular. My first order was the Scaloppine Di Vitello, a succulent, tasty Veal dish over spinach and lemon capers sauce. I invite you to sets your sights and tastebuds to experience the MERCATOLIC RESTAURANT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

  I recently ordered a few pasta dishes to go, and everything was absolutely delicious. The seafood linguine was the standout—my whole family loved it so much that it disappeared within minutes! I also really appreciate that they use foil containers for takeout instead of plastic. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference—you can enjoy your meal without worrying about hot food sitting in plastic. Great food, thoughtful packaging, and overall a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend supporting this local spot!

  I had a wonderful time celebrating my mom’s birthday and the food was delizioso! I initially called to cancel as we were running late and I didn’t want to impose. They were so accommodating to a reservation change. Very sweet, attentive, welcoming, and absolutely amazing! They sang happy birthday to my mom, which I only asked for a dessert, it was lovely. They went above and beyond and I appreciate it so much. We will be returning soon and look forward to becoming regulars moving forward.

  Pasta was very overcooked, limp, flavorless. The carbonara tasted like cooking wine for some reason. Extremely expensive for what it is, service was very slow, pasta gave me a tummy ache.

  Came here for an early dinner, food, drinks and service were amazing!! Had the branzino which was perfectly cooked in its lemon and white wine sauce! Servers were very attentive and nice, would definitely come back!
