- LBLT BanfieldJun 6, 20262.0I have to be honest it is juat Dunkin Donuts so it shouldn't be so serious. However the number of times the morning crew 530am to 730am messed up my SIMPLE orders is disturbingly amazing. Simple orders like a bagel or an iced green tea. I think what broke me when about a week ago I asked if they had RASPBERRY limeade (I got it at highway dunking coming from jersey) the young lady said yes and then gave me BLACK CHERRY. I had a sever allergic reaction. I blame myself because I know better and should have e checked although I asked. Ive walked out without a refund so many times because I am so frustrated. Only reason I keep trying is because I go there for gas on my way to work and disnt want to make another stop. However now I just make my own. I limit my interactions to maybe one day every other week. Get a Stanley cup. Save yourself money and make your own. I will say it is always clean and the staff ia not the friendliest BUT they are professional and polite. Its just their competence I question
- RSRich S.Jun 1, 20261.0My experience today compelled me to write this. I'm a driver for a mobile food delivery platform. I received the order about 15 minutes before arriving at Dunkin'. When I got there, the order was already sitting on the counter loose and unbagged. Knowing it needed to be packaged properly, I waited patiently. After about five minutes, I was finally asked if I needed help. I explained that I was there for the single order already sitting on the counter among the other pickup orders. The employee replied, "Let me find the order for you," then moved the other loose orders onto the pickup tray. The store was completely empty. About 90 seconds later, she began looking for a bag. Several minutes passed before she asked another employee where the delivery bags were located. The response was, "Right where you were looking." Apparently they were out of the smaller bags. This order consisted of one donut and one drink. At that point, trying to help expedite the process, I politely said, "Please just let me take the order as it is and put the receipt on it." I was told that I would have to wait and that the order would be ready when it was ready. What I don't understand is this: why is it considered acceptable to treat a delivery driver differently than the customer who placed the order? We're both serving the same customer. If I had been the customer walking in to pick up my own order, would I have been asked to stand there and wait while employees searched for packaging for several minutes in an empty store? I'm genuinely curious where the justification is. Delivery drivers are not the customer, but we are the customer's representative. When our time is unnecessarily wasted, it's ultimately the customer who receives slower service.
