- TTTruth TalkerJul 14, 20263.0The Chipotle in Poughkeepsie is a nice-looking location, but unfortunately the service doesn’t live up to it. Every visit feels rushed, even when the restaurant isn’t busy. The portions are consistently skimpy, and it seems like every possible upcharge gets added. The last time I ordered a steak bowl, my total came to nearly $19 before a drink or anything else. I understand that guacamole and queso are premium add-ons, but the value just isn’t there when you’re paying that much and still receiving such small portions. At that price point, there are simply better options nearby. McDonald’s, Burger King, and Jersey Mike’s all offer meals that feel more filling for the money, and you can even sit down at Applebee’s for a comparable or sometimes lower price. When fast-casual prices start competing with full-service restaurants, the experience and portion sizes need to justify the cost. Unfortunately, this location doesn’t. I’ve given this location multiple chances, hoping things would improve, but the experience has remained the same. Between the small portions, high prices, and rushed customer service, it’s hard to justify coming back. There are plenty of nearby restaurants that offer a better overall value and experience.

In the afternoons it is consistently in a state of disarray Food on the ground , sticky counter area near napkins and straws, you can’t even put your bag down to grab anything because it will be wet. I am mainly disappointed in the lack of friendliness behind the counter they seemed to walk around and bump into each other not knowing where food is what’s coming out how long it’s going to take . Bins are constantly, empty and what I got last night in my bag was over $43 of dry scraps of what was left in the bins and stale chips . I don’t appreciate it nor will I recommend it to anyone. It’s a shame because I’ve been to many Chipotle restaurants and spent many dollars on in your franchise and it has really gone downhill , I would almost say gross in the Poughkeepsie store . Survey and email prompted no response, they don’t care just pushing out trash food.
