  I was very disappointed with my experience on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The restaurant advertises that it closes at 9:00 PM, but when I arrived at 8:00 PM I was told the kitchen was already closed and they were no longer serving food. What made the experience even worse was the way it was handled. The staff acknowledged that the kitchen closes at 8:00 PM, but no one apologized for the inconvenience or showed any concern that I had made the trip expecting to be served. A simple apology and better communication would have gone a long way. I regularly go to Makondo Restaurant at new Rochelle, and the service there is always impeccable. They make customers feel welcome and valued. Unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite. If your kitchen closes an hour before the restaurant’s advertised closing time, that should be clearly communicated on Google, your website, and at the entrance. Otherwise, customers reasonably expect they can still order food before 9:00 PM. I hope management addresses this issue because this kind of poor communication and lack of customer care leaves a very negative impression.

  El mesero se tardó en tomarnos la orden a mi y a mi amiga y aparte de eso DOS empanadas tardaron 30 minutos en llegar y el ni siquiera se molestó en decirnos que tardarían en llegar y si el hubiera dicho algo pues hubiéramos entendido. PÉSIMO SERVICIOOOO y esta es la segunda vez que pasa algo así y ni siquiera estaba busy el restaurante.

  I lovely place to enjoy a good cappuccino and a whole menu of different dishes from Colombia. The hospitality is excellent!
