Food is delicious. Their pork belly taco is the best I've ever had. They also have a 60 minute all you can eat taco menu that also includes 2 drinks. The drinks are amazing. Ive had their Oaxacan old fashioned which is amazing and their passion fruit margaritas!

Absolutely love this place! Their drinks are well worth it and so aesthetically beautiful. I love the passion fruit margaritas and the dragon fruit drink. The upstairs, outdoor area is such a fun vibe!! And the loaded tostones are what keep us coming back… get pernil on them! So good!!
I rarely write reviews unless a place is exceptionally good or bad. Taco District was great in all regards. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and the tacos were some of the best I've ever had. We started with the off-the-cob street corn & chorizo, then had asada tacos and pernil tacos (braised pork shoulder), plus rice & beans and sweet plantains. My favorite was the asada, but I should have started with the pernil since it was so juicy and tender that the tortilla started falling apart as I was eating it. Despite not being able to eat it fast enough, the flavors were amazing. The sweet plantains were also fantastic, with a slightly crispy outer layer, a touch of cinnamon, plus a side of crema. The rice & beans were more of a supporting act, while the rest of the meal took center stage. Can't wait to go back!

Terrible service from Alexis.
I called to place an order for my son to pick up while I was at work, and Alexis informed me that phone payments are not allowed. This contradicts my past experience with your establishment and goes against any typical payment policy at any restaurant.
She then backtracked and stated she did not know how to process a phone payment. Instead of attempting to find a solution, she showed no willingness to help. I even suggested she ask another employee, a manager, or even offering an alternative such as placing the order online. She insisted there were no other employees or managers available to help, and she made zero effort to seek guidance or gain the knowledge in how to properly take a payment.
Alexis displayed complete disregard, impatience, and a lack of motivation or interest in assisting me as a paying customer. Her unwillingness to help directly resulted in my son walking to the restaurant only to leave empty‑handed and without dinner.
This level of service is unacceptable. It reflects serious gaps in training, operational support, and basic customer‑service standards. What I found most unsettling was Alexis’s refusal to even attempt to find a solution. Her phone presence came across as annoyed and dismissive, and it felt as though turning away my service was simply easier for her — despite me clearly explaining that I was at work and trying to ensure my son had a meal for dinner.
Terrible, unacceptable service from Alexis, and I sincerely hope this issue is addressed immediately. Disgusting service and phone presence. I will never bring my business where I feel I am being treated as an annoyance or bother.

I am absolutely disgusted with the way my family and I were treated at Taco District in Peekskill. What was supposed to be a nice dining experience turned into one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever had.
First of all, the atmosphere felt more like a nightclub than a family restaurant. We specifically requested NOT to be seated by the door, and our request was completely ignored. From the moment we sat down, the server had an attitude and constantly rushed us to order instead of allowing us time to enjoy the experience.
To make matters worse, we were repeatedly told that certain menu items were “unavailable,” only to watch the same server bring those exact items to other tables just minutes later. Then, when I asked about another item on the menu, the server told me it was “pretty expensive” and possibly out of my price range before trying to push cheaper options on me. I never asked for financial opinions or substitutions. That comment was extremely disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate.
The experience kept getting worse. They attempted to charge our table for TAP WATER, and when we asked for a to-go container, the server was visibly annoyed. We were also told they “don’t give out bags” unless you placed a full to-go order. Ironically, when I asked another server for assistance, they immediately provided me with a bag without any issue at all.
The behavior, attitude, and obvious judgment from this employee were unacceptable. The hiring team at this restaurant seriously needs to do better and hire people who know how to treat customers with respect and professionalism. No one should feel judged, rushed, or unwelcome while trying to enjoy a meal with their family.
I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again. You definitely lost my business.
