- JIJulianna Iasevoli3 days ago5.0Cibo hosted my daughter’s baptism. From the start, Sofia was easy to work with, and made the process seamless. She answered emails within the same business day, and answered all my questions. The food was delicious, my party had highest compliments. They gave ample food for a party of 20 people, enough for guests to take home leftovers. The atmosphere is beautiful with the new dining room. The servers were attentive and kind, and held easy small talk with the guests throughout the dinner. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

- JFjeremiah fennelSep 26, 20262.0Ill get to the pizza...I traveled 20 min to test this pizza as I saw it was new and absolutely LOVE PIZZA ( im quite the NY pizza connoisseur) and testing new shops all over LI ,AND outta state! Unfortunately It was not worth it at all. Counter service was flawless ie fast freindly welcoming and accommodating, ready pizza selection was varying, and SMALL and separate quick slice eating area was clean but lacked any kind of ambiance which is still kina nice even when just sitting for 2 or 3 quick slices! Anyways pizza fell flat taste-wise as far as NY pizza goes! I specifically went for the grandma slice (a tru ny classic) found it to be rather flavorless overall and found it to THIN (yes grandma's thin-ISH bu this was TO thin) and lacking body and substance, not enough sauce at all (yes i know g-mas are not HEAVILY sauced but this was still to little) and overly garlicy but to its CREDIT it wasnt overly greasy and WAS wonderfully crispy as a grandma should be! I also had the g-ma style vodka sauce-pepperoni- hot honey slice(not a classic but quite popular now and CAN be ridiculously good) and this was slightly better but unfortunately still not even nearly as good as 1 or 2 others ive had from local shops! So yes overall i do not recommend it for PIZZA ( but who knows there otjer food coule be absolutely fantastic) if you LIKE me are a true NY/LI pizza connoisseur! REMEMBER a food review is almost ALWAYS subjective and I do still wish the new establishment and owners the best of luck!!
- PRPhil RSep 26, 20262.0The ambiance was really nice, and at first, everything seemed to be off to a good start. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and provided good service. Unfortunately, the overall experience took a turn when it came to the food. One issue that stood out right away was the number of flies buzzing around the bar area. It wasn't enough to make us leave, but it definitely took away from the atmosphere. We had stopped in for a couple of drinks and a take out pizza. The drinks, a glass of wine and a chocolate martini, were okay but nothing memorable. The martini came without any garnish, chocolate shavings, or any finishing touch. It's a small detail, but those little things can make a big difference. The biggest disappointment was the pizza. We ordered a pie with multiple toppings, but the bartender chose not to write the order down. As expected, one of the toppings, peppers, was forgotten. When I politely asked if they could add them, the response was disappointing. Instead of properly finishing the pizza, someone simply tossed a handful of cold peppers on top of the pizza, to correct the missed item. The peppers weren't cooked or incorporated into the pizza at all. It felt like an afterthought and honestly gave the impression that they just wanted to get us out the door. It's unfortunate because everything was going well up until that point. The staff was pleasant, but the lack of attention to detail and poor quality control on the pizza really turned it into a bad visit. Don't think it's asking for much (for a paid pizza) to reheat with missed topping. Come on, guys.
- RSRichard SeymourSep 24, 20265.0There's a lot of Authenticity here! Carbonara made the way they make it in Italy! FRESH pasta too! There sauces as I tried each dish on my table was VERY good. The Olive bread is a nice touch. The drinks were on point, creative moctails too! Pizza recipes on the menu were impressive & different. Was a great first visit & Cibo will now be a regular for us. The bar looked like a fun group already so I'm sure Happy Hours are good. The dining room looks like a nice party room for celebrations. I didn't know we were getting this coming from the pizzeria that existed before hand but I'm happy we now have Cibo.
