  I can’t even count how many times I’ve eaten at Ben's Crab, and I’ve brought so many friends and family here who ended up loving the food just as much as I do. I honestly think they have one of the best seafood boils in New York. The people who work there are always very friendly, and the service is consistently really good. The only downside is that it can get pretty noisy, but overall this is a place I strongly recommend.

  Horrible establishment, my first and last time ever going to a Bens crab, definitely overhyped, the staffing is very unprofessional, they’re rude, and will definitely play in your face. Do your research on these places before going. I went for my birthday dinner, it was 8 of us, they let me have a late reservation, my table wasn’t ready when I got there, then when we were seated, we all ordered, multiple of my friends orders were made wrong, MY ORDER DIDNT EVEN COME, keep in mind, it’s my birthday, so imagine how crazy that looks. So I go up there and my friends that orders were made wrong, the staffing is laughing in our face, I ask to speak to management, I’m told the manager doesn’t want to speak, then the same guy that said the manager doesn’t want to speak is telling me that he’s the manager, it’s clear as day he’s lying, he wanted to keep saying I speak English, I speak English, which wasn’t asked, our server disappeared, the other staff is still laughing in our face, so I go downstairs and get the manager myself because clearly the other guy was lying and didn’t want to go nor spoke to the manager. I’m highly upset no longer being nice because atp, the workers is laughing in my face, they don’t want to get management, and it’s my 21st birthday, you don’t turn 21 again after turning 21, so why ruin this experience for me, don’t want to accommodate, the “kitchen is closed”, the drink and food I wanted I never got, just so disappointing. Anyways spoke to the manager, he resolved certain things, we paid for the people that did eat and got their order right and left. I’m not blaming manager for anything, if anything he was the most respectful and cooperating one, this is just why you need to watch who you hire, because it can cause your business to go down hill/lose money. Also there’s no point of writing down orders if you’re still not going to get it right. Food rating 1/10-The food was horrible based off of what my friends said, seasoning was caked up all over the food, they eventually just gave us the food free of charge because they didn’t fix the messed up orders and didn’t want it to go to waste, since after all that back and forth, we just didn’t want the food anymore, it was untouched. But to wrap this up, please do your research on these places before going, especially if it’s a special event.

  Atmosphere was good, was just a quiet night. Some nights are really jumping in there, in a good way. Food was exceptionally good. I havent been there in a while, it is the original Ben's Crab I was introduced to years ago. They updated their menu, and its great!.

  The food was fine but the bathroom ?!?! Disgusting it makes u rethink even wanting to stay there and eat they need to fix that shit up asap

  It was ok but did not live up to my expectations. I think that the seafood boil combo that I ordered was not hot enough (temperature wise). Because of that the sauce got somewhat solidified based on the fatty content and the temperature not being hot enough. The gumbo was a bit watery. There is parking.
