  I ordered La Roma’s cannoli cake with rum syrup and toasted almonds for a birthday party, and it was delicious as always. The pastries, cookies, and breads are incredible. You will never be disappointed. It’s one of the top Italian bakeries in Suffolk County! Bellissima!!!!!

  First let me say I have been in the food business for over 40 years and the place itself is very clean and looks amazing. The owner and the customer service staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful.My family and myself tried the mini pastries, the biscotti, the fig cookies and lemon drop cookies, the rugelach, the prosciutto bread and sour dough bread - and everything was fantastic and very fresh. I would consider this the best bakery in all of long island - and is comparable to any great bakery in Brooklyn or Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. This place is well worth the trip.

  I ordered my wedding cake from La Roma Pastry Shop. I was taken care of by the store manager Maria. She was amazing, we sat in their beautiful shop and discussed how I wanted my cake done. Maria was not only helpful but made me feel like I was someone special. She knew exactly what I wanted and I felt like I had known her before. LaRoma must be seen to be believed. Their cakes and pastries are works of art and the staff are extremely helpful. But Maria made the whole experience beautiful. She is truly an asset to this specialty pastry shop. You will not be disappointed.
