When I get there there’s this couple that gets there after me , the lady behind the bar skips me and sits them down. She then took a few minutes to even ask me if I needed help. I ordered the griot dinner with rice and beans . The rice isn’t authentic Haitian rice , the sauce tastes like V8 and the plantains were soggy seemed like it sat in oil. The only thing that was ehh was the pork. I feel like they focus more on the event aspect and not the food. Just my opinion, wouldn’t recommend
- RPrachelle primesJun 29, 20261.0We were so excited to try this restaurant as we were traveling on our way home but unfortunately when i went to check the website when we arrived they were closed on everyday that we were in town very disappointed. Review is only based upon all the days leading up to july 4 that they were closed. Update: Thanks for the clarity but unfortunately that should hve bn posted stating temporary closed due to renovation we were 45 minutes into the drive there which was a hour away from the hotel we were staying at when we decided to go online to order our food just to see the restaurant was closed.
- GOGABRIELLE OCCENAJun 27, 20265.0Today was my first time eating here at Cy’s restaurant. Everything was PERFECT, the food so amazing and the chefs were so kind. Erica the bartender and our waitress very customer service friendly and made the best Mango Margaritas for me. I had the red snapper dinner and I almost CRIED TEARS at how freshly prepared and flavorful everything was. We did have to wait for the food to be brought to us but that was because everything was made to order. I have no notes 10/10!!! the atmosphere was a family/homely feeling, the food was made with love, and I pray that the business grows and expands from coast to coast to honor Cy, and share with everyone who wants a beautiful 5 star dining experience and a helluva good time.
