The size (medium) of the shake and fries were accurate.
My rating is due to the service fee they charged that is not listed in the website. When I asked, the employee stated that it’s to run the website. No refund was offered.
The shake taste artificial with a light touch of strawberry and the fries were salty.
I come with my gf and i really liked it there specially the customer service there is a kid hes very professional at welcoming us and the service was so fast ,definitely coming back there plus they gave us 15% discount ❤️
Yoyo Chicken is a fast casual chicken place parked on East 14th Street--serving up menu of comfort/ fast foods like fried chicken sandwiches, fried chicken bowls, wings, burgers, fries, and more. it's a small colorful clean interior with a few seats by way of ledge + stools and lots of bright lights. picked up an order of Chopped Crispy Chicken over rice comes with waffle fries, pickles, and coleslaw. there's touchscreen ordering if the order counter is busy. my order didn't take that long to make after ordering by a food app. my order was packaged well. the food wasn't super hot in temperature, so i assume some of the food is pre-batched. i thought the chopped fried chicken ("crispy chicken" tasted fine...wasn't super crispy and most of the flavor seemed to come from the YoYo sauce which is pretty good. the rice was fine as well--not much to note as it does its job of soaking up the yoyo sauce and chicken flavor. wished the waffle fries were crispier, but who would complain about French fries that are cooked competently? not me. there's also pickles + coleslaw to add a cooling element to the platter. though nothing in the platter is all that spicy. the portions of everything from the chicken to the rice to the fries is plentiful--they don't skimp on the main items. to me, the chicken over rice scene has so many options in terms of brick and mortar and food trucks...that I'd
probably opt for a sandwich or a Mac n cheese platter and pass on the chicken over rice, here, even though it's fine, just not all that memorable in terms of a meal option. the service is quick and efficient--so no complaints there. definitely YoYo Chicken is a good option to have when you want comfort food in the form of a fast casual meal, but i think in terms of the East Village...you have a lot of options, so competition is fierce when we are talking about everyday takeout options.

Their chicken tenders have significantly shrunk in size. I ordered 6 chicken tenders, and only 2-3 were of decent size. Others were too small. While their rice bowl portion is good, the tenders were a letdown. The price felt too much compared to the food. Also, today a woman took my order and she was most probably talking on the phone while taking it. I had specified the spice level as Very Hot. But she still put very light spice on them. I had even asked her when taking my food, if she made the spice very hot, and she had said yes. Still found them lightly spiced. Very disappointed as it was an expensive order.
