I was on a Chicago tour and I got treated like I was a piece of trash. I got my bill and my bill was $ 185 just for two dinners and a side. I asked for drinks but she overcharged me. I believe it was the owner at the restaurant and she thought I was drunk but wasn’t at 11pm . and drinking to bring me shots for, say, to get me more drunk wasn’t right. Then she gave me a free appetizer or free drink. A business card like that was okay like I asked for a drink, not a $48 drink. Wasn’t happening at all. Please don’t visit this location. I shouldn’t even pay for my service. Like this card is going to help. I don’t live in New York lol 😂 but they will overprice you on drinks and try to get you drunk. And the Service was bad and he was to busy Taking care of other people
Perfect place for a casual dinner. Got the rice with seafood, and it has SOOO MUCH seafood, and the rice soaked up all the good broth without becoming soggy, it was done to perfection. Lomo saltado was also good, perfectly seasoned, just a bit more well done than what we would have liked. The nikkei ceviche was excellent, and the tuna portion was very generous. Not the most well decorated restaurant, but cute enough for a casual dinner date. Service was 100/100!

🥰✨ Definitivamente volveremos. ¡100% recomendado! 🇵🇪❤️

***amended review. After the restaurant reached out to me, they offered me a $60 credit for my “inconvenience “ for billing errors so basically a $46 credit because I was overcharged $14 for product I didn’t receive. They asked me to remove or change my review but in all honesty the food was mediocre and the service was what it was. Please understand I give honest feedback I appreciate the restaurant doing something that’s why I updated this review If you choose to eat here make sure to check your order and billing. Also understand that the food was in my opinion as well as my families opinion not true to Peruvian authentic cuisine.
First off I hate being charged for things I dont get. We only consumed 3 Saratoga waters but were charged for 4. $8 each. Then, my fault didn’t see it til after I left. I ordered a passion fruit juice and waiter never brought it. I assumed since it was loud he didn’t hear me. But after I left I noticed it was on bill for $6. Love that! The food was mediocre at best. The papa ala huancaina was a strange flavor. Not sure what spice it was they used but definitely not Peruvian. The tamale was more Ecuadorian flare than Peruvian and was dry as can be. Once it starts screaming in the microwave, please let it out. The seafood wasn’t fresh . . The lomo saltado was very salty. The ceviche was average. Overall with all the choices and the billing flaws I urge you to try elsewhere! Public service announcement: I was with 3 people from Peru and this was their honest opinion not just me!
