Always missing items when you order take out.
I ordered a bowl tonight from work and there are no sauces or extra pita
The tops wasn’t put on the bowl properly and the brown bag was soaked by the time I got home
Last time when items were missing I ordered pickup and told the girl right away. She was very nice and told the rude guy with the beard and he tried saying he definitely put fries in and she told him she looked at the bowls. He threw some fries in a separate container and seemed so annoyed. Last time was tonight. It’s not worth 3 pieces of chicken with wet slop and NO tzatziki sauce

Expensive for what you can get in the area. Staff are amazing & their bright attitudes definitely make an impact here. Place can be congested with delivery drivers and tables can be dirty at times; attention there is needed. The ingredients tase fresh, but again, other nearby venues can give you more for less. I think it makes the most sense to come here if you’re craving Greek specific food instead of healthy bowl / sandwich options. I’ll underscore again how great the staff are & their ability to customize options competently is largely why I’d visit again.

Delicious, fresh, generously portioned food in a deli-like set up. Fast and friendly service. Some seating inside and out.
I ordered the Classic Greek salad and added beef & lamb gyro as my protein. Simple oil and vinegar as the dressing. So good! Well mixed. With every bite, including the last, there was tasty morsels of the gyro meat.
I arrived at about 1:00p on Saturday. I was served quickly and had my choice of seating. Within 30 minutes the place was jammed. Glad I arrived when I did.

I’ve visited this gyro bowl place about three times. The first time I went, when they first opened, was the best gyro bowl I’ve had. However, the other two times haven’t been as good. My meat was cold, and they didn’t add nearly as much as I had the first time. On a busy night they also forgot two sauces, so I had to go back and get them in plastic cups. For $17, I expect a filled up, correct and fresh bowl every time. Maybe it’s just this location that needs some more attention to detail, or perhaps the employees should take their time with orders, that being said I will give it another try.

If you’re looking for the best gyro in New York, The Gyro Project absolutely delivers. This is hands down one of the most flavorful and satisfying gyros I’ve had in the city so far.
I ordered the beef and lamb gyro, and it was packed with flavor perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked just right. The tzatziki deserves its own spotlight: thick, creamy, and loaded with that bold garlic kick that makes it irresistible. It was honestly perfect for dipping fries too (which I highly recommend doing).
The pita bread was soft and fluffy, everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you can really tell they care about quality. On top of that, the customer service was warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
And don’t skip dessert their frozen Greek yogurt is amazing. I tried the baklava flavor, and it was such a treat rich, unique, and absolutely delicious.
Highly recommend this spot if you want authentic flavors done right. I’ll definitely be coming back.
