One of my favorite bars in the city! Amazing selection of beer and the burger is always on point. Zander is without a doubt my favorite, always a great time when he’s there! Highly recommend!

This is hands down my favorite bar! The service is always amazing, the staff is so friendly and welcoming especially Claudia our favorite bartender!! BG offers the best atmosphere to meet up with friends in the back garden or to watch game. And don't leave without trying the loaded fries, they're absolutely incredible and a must-order every time for me. 🍻🍻

Beer garage is an absolute blast everytime I frequent there with my friends. Service is amazing and the food is honestly the best bar food I have ever had. (Try the mozerella sticks, they won’t disappoint). One of my first google reviews just because it’s that good!

I have never left a negative review before, but my experience at Beer Garage was so upsetting that I felt obligated to share it.
As an Asian customer, the way my party and I were treated raised serious concerns about discriminatory treatment. I encourage anyone who values being treated with respect to think twice before dining here.
We came to watch the Knicks Game 2 and asked for a table for two right at tipoff. We were initially told we couldn't be seated because we didn't have reservations, and from there the experience only became more confusing.
The first red flag was that every empty outdoor table on the street side had a "Reserved" sign, including two open seats at the bar. We were told that even the bar seats were reserved, which surprised us since bar seating is typically first come, first served.
The second red flag came when a table opened up. We asked if we could be seated there, but the host said no and instead offered us one of the "reserved" tables. We reluctantly accepted as the view to the TV was subpar, trying to understand how we were suddenly able to sit at a reserved table after being told nothing was available.
A few minutes later, the host walked next door to another restaurant, physically brought over an additional table, and set it up for another party that had just arrived. We were told they had reservations. Watching this unfold in front of my eyes while we had repeatedly been told nothing was available was frustrating and the preferential treatment to another party was mind-boogling.
The host then asked if I wanted to speak with the manager and he immediately became defensive and told us we were "lucky" to be seated at a reserved table without a reservation because they were expecting 70 people that night. Mind you, there were empty tables and the restaurant is a size of a garage (hence the name).
The gaslighting and interaction was so infuriating, we decided to leave without ordering any food or drinks.
There are plenty of restaurants in Brooklyn that are more deserving and treat their customers with respect. Beer Garage is not one of them. Based on this horrendous experience, I will not be returning and warn others to avoid this place at all cost.
The Beer Garage is open Monday to Thursday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Friday from 1:00 PM to midnight, Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM, and Sunday from noon to 10:00 PM.
