- MBMegan Bauerle2 days ago5.0Walked in during lunch time on my way to Penn Station looking for a quick bite to eat. First impressions were it was quiet and only a few people in the restaurant. Staff was super friendly and the place was impeccably clean. I decided to get the spicy tuna crispy rice, and the “ I could eat 3 rolls “ for $20 - got them all spicy. Hands down some of the best hand rolls I’ve had. The fish was so fresh you could taste all the components of each roll. They also gave complimentary miso soup - which was incredible. The spicy scallop and salmon were my favorite. Well worth the stop in, and I’ll be coming back whenever I have time to kill before the train.

I went around 9:25 PM,That was Monday night ⁰and the host told me they were closing and offered me takeout instead. However, the website open until 10 PM. I decided to give them another chance and thought I would come back for lunch. I came back around 12 PM for Thursday lunch with my coworker, and unfortunately, I saw the same host. She told me they were not ready to open yet with bad attitude At this point, I haven’t even had the chance to try the food, but I’ve already had a negative experience with the service twice. I ended up going to Kazunori instead. Hopefully, the restaurant can be more consistent with its posted hours and customer service.

I have gone maybe 6x now, and I’ll definitely be back again school. Love their spicy crispy rice and specialty handrolls!!! Highly recommend.
