  Had such a great dinner at Temakase Hand Roll Bar. The lobster hand roll was rich, flavorful, and melted in my mouth, and the blue crab sushi was super fresh with amazing texture. Everything tasted high quality and thoughtfully made. The restaurant itself has a clean, stylish vibe that makes the whole experience feel elevated without being pretentious. Great service, fresh seafood, and an overall amazing experience. Highly recommend if you love sushi and hand rolls.

  Absolutely loved my experience at Temakase Hand Roll Bar. The lobster hand roll was incredibly fresh, buttery, and perfectly balanced, while the blue crab sushi tasted delicate, sweet, and beautifully prepared. You can really tell they care about quality and presentation here. The atmosphere felt modern yet cozy, and the service was attentive throughout the meal. Definitely one of the best hand roll spots I’ve tried in NYC. Can’t wait to come back!

  Very fast service. Clean crisp dishes. Love the flavors. Was very hungry so took the hungry option plus the eel avocado roll. Delicious

  Went for a work lunch and sat right away. Fish was very fresh and generous portions (I am a snob about this). Everything we had was great. Aesthetic place and no line compared to KazuNori across the block.

  Saw many good reviews so we tried Temakase, but it was disappointing. The fish tasted quite fishy and seemed covered with sauce. My friend even got a big fish bone in a hand roll. Service was unprofessional. Staff were loud and careless. It’s cheap, but the quality reflects that. There are much better hand roll spots in the city like Kazunori. Wouldn’t come back.
