The restaurant will stay true to what pizza fans love about New York-style pies—the crunch and the chew of the crust, the classic red sauce, the cheese pull—but the menu will stretch far beyond the standards. While one table shares a Caesar salad, some pepperoni pies and IPAs on draft, another will dive into Hoagie Toasts, a mushroom and muenster pizza inspired by a sandwich from the Old Town Bar, and soft serve with a hot-honey shell. All pizzas will be 12 inches, a break from tradition but one that will give everyone a chance to indulge in more than one slice. On tap at the bar: beer, of course, but also Lambrusco and sparkling Negronis, along with a rotating list of craft cocktails.

- JPJonathan Power1 day ago5.0Despite the current photo and location marker (hopefully Google fixes this), this is not the original Stretch, but rather a slice stand in the back left of the Hugh food court. I'm giving it 5 stars in memory of the Park Ave location, which was one of my favorite pizza shops in the last few years, and because it is the best place to get a slice (or pie) in the east 50s. Many slices come with some kind of sauce or embellishment, which can be left off; I usually prefer just the slice itself. Service is fast and friendly. Now that the main Stretch closed, I would love it if there were a rotating slice or salad at this location - I want another Nellie, another Old Town, another potato chip salad, another Sunday Night Ragu!

- AFAnne FisherJul 17, 20265.0This Stretch Pizza is located inside an office building "The Hugh" in a food hall (go down the stairs from street level to find it). It's in the back in a corner of the food hall. There is no stand-alone restaurant in Manhattan any longer as of summer 2026. (Restaurant is in Brooklyn now). Stretch Pizza in Midtown East is found inside a food court small-sized counter with just 2 chairs at the little bar, but there is ample free seating in the food hall area with nice wooden chairs and tables and cool vibe. We tried the classic Margherita slice and the mushroom/pesto slice (not sure if they make full pizzas to go here?). The crust was amazing and you could tell that Wylie Dufresne had his experience put into it. The sauce was yummy and cheese pull too! The top of the Margherita was a bit greasy, but I blotted with a napkin. Overall, a great experience and delicious slices! More people need to check this place out (though maybe during office hours it's busier).
