  We were hosted by Li and Vincent. Super nice chief. The best Omakase so far in Manhattan. We especially liked the king salmon four gras and shima ají. 10/10 will definitely visit again

  Visited from Montreal. The ambiance as you walk in is breathtaking. The food is incredible & I will for sure come back. If you’re visiting this has to be on your bucket list. My favorite cut was the Toro & the King Salmon

  If you are looking for a solid meal that won't break the bank, Sozo offers a good value at $89 for a 15-piece set. The menu features a nice variety of nigiri and composed dishes. I really appreciated the inclusion of hot dishes early on. The Amadai Matsukasa (tilefish) served as an excellent first course. The Chawanmushi with Crab Ankake was a major standout. It was incredibly silky and packed with umami from the japanese steamed egg, crab, and shitake. While the quality was good, it felt like there were a few too many tuna-based courses between the Akami and Toro. The King Salmon comes topped with foie gras and chopped onion. I really enjoyed the flavor, but I found myself wishing they had torched the foie gras a bit to render it more. Skip the Hand Rolls: The Toro Temaki included in the set was not very good. Given that, I certainly would not recommend ordering any of the additional hand roll add-ons listed at the bottom of the menu The ambiance was good although a bit dark and I liked that there were table seats for larger groups

  I really enjoyed my 15 course Omakase experience at SoZo Sip Bar. The fish was high quality and had great flavor. I sat at the Chef’s bar and received great service. And for $85 there probably isn’t a better offering in that area. Drinks were incredible too.

  A very perfect experience. Good ambiance and very good company. The owner Chi, was great company and great conversation definitely a very good place to come to. All the dishes were robust with flavor. Everything was very clean and the service was perfect.
