Route 66 American Kitchen & Bar is located on historic Stone Street, located in FiDi. Chef Billy Kooper’s menu features unique twists on beloved BBQ and American recipes with a strong emphasis on hand-selected ingredients from farm to table vendors.
Our restaurant features three unique spaces; our year-round outdoor beer garden, our indoor dining room & our upstairs game room & lounge.
Good and ambience was great , waitress didn’t acknowledge us as we entered. She only checked on us once because we had to call over asking her for napkins n utensils. She was too busy on her phone and talking to bartender and playing games . We asked for more water since it’s hot out to be given water with no ice. We asked for the tab and she brought the machine to pay without us viewing the receipt in case of mistakes. After we paid she said do you want the receipt in which we stated yes and she walked away and never returned .

Had a terrible expiriance here this Tuesday evening.
First server took our orders we ordered 2 orders od hot dogs with fries but the server miss understood and brought us this plus two side orders of fries which we were okay with mistakes happen.
However we never recived any cutlary and we ordered mac and cheese. We waited for food for a very long and couldnt catch a single waiter to get a fork.
After waiting for 15 min one of us got over to the bar to ask for a fork to which the bartender rolled her eyes and was visably anoyed.
We also wanted to order a drink for a friend who came later but again no one even looked in our direction so we went to the bar again were told someone is going to bring it and it was the worst coke I ever tasted. It was completely flat which was so hard to understand because I saw they have cans at the bar. This was 10x worse than in a theatre.
It was again a mission impossible to get the waiter to pay the check and I was hoping to just pay online by InKind but our table was missing the code.
I wish i could say the food was worth the wait, the hot dogs were all burnt and food tastes as if it was from a frozen meal reheated.
I really wanted to like this place because it is so conveniently located but unfortunately there wasn’t one good thing about it.
I wish I could say it was busy but there were only 2 more groups next to us and the whole place was empty.

My daughter recommended this place. We wanted a place with good vibes, comfort food and chill enough to catch up. Route 66, Pearl St. did not disappoint. The decor is beautiful and warm. Perfect for pictures and ambience. Music varies and was so fun but not so loud that we couldn't enjoy conversation. Table choices range so it's perfect for small groups or even a date night. TV screens throughout for those not wanting to miss their sports and the bar area looked like fun. I noticed smiles all around.
We got loaded nachos and the pulled pork Mac and cheese and the classic Mac and cheese with buttered corn bread. Scrumptious, gooey from start to finish with the slightest and enjoyable kick. I didn't think I could finish it. Well, I did😋. One of us got either the NY strip or Ribs, but either way we were all digging in and even enjoyed the fun photo booth they have.
The margarita tower is the way to go. Loved that we could just refill on demand. Genius concept and cost effective when considering individual prices these days.
There's an upstairs too but it was closed for an event. Our server was so sweet and attentive. Can't wait to go back!

If I could give no stars, I would. It was 8:00 on a Saturday night, we were the only table inside the restaurant. They took our order and then “misplaced” it. After an hour the waitress said they were really busy and misplaced our order so it would all be comp’t.
After another 45 min the food came out. The fries were probably from 3 days ago, the Mac n cheese was wet and the quesadilla has probably been under a heat lamp for two days.
We tipped the waitress, she was sweet, and left. ALL NIGHT we all fought getting sick.
Horrible horrible experience. Do not eat the food!!!!
