This Japanese restaurant on the rooftop of Pier 57 is worth visiting for the spectacular views of the Hudson River, especially around sunset. If the weather is nice, try to get a table outside—it's one of the best ways to enjoy a summer evening in New York. The sushi was fresh and well prepared, and the Sauvignon Blanc paired nicely with the meal. The only disappointment was the Japanese whisky Old Fashioned, which wasn't particularly enjoyable. Overall, the combination of the scenery, atmosphere, and good food makes this a place I'd happily recommend.

Very good
The food was great and the atmosphere too. The view is very nice, especially at sunset.
Just a bit overpriced maybe, because the portions are quite small

Great atmosphere, service and food. The service was quick and the server was kind taking time to explain the menu.
The food came out quickly and the food portions were generous.
The view and atmosphere was also fantastic the tables were spaced fairly far apart so it did not feel like you were packed into the restaurant allowing for a more relaxed dinner.
I was visiting Google NY (July 2026) which is located on Pier 57. I stopped her for a quick lunch with a couple of colleagues. This place opens at noon. We were the first few to enter. Unfortunately on our day, the sushi chef hadn't pre-prepped and as such some of options off the sushi menu were not available. Regardless, I opted for the bento box and that was available. It was a lite fare and just the right size and quantity. I was pleasantly pleased with the setup and the food was perfect. The views also from the top of the pier building cannot be denied. If you are in the area and want a quick bite to eat, this is the place. The prices were reasonable and comparatively balanced. The space is spacious and the light is balanced. I can imagine and evening dining experience to be amazing with the view. Over all a good experience. When in the area again, would definitely stop here once more.
The setting alone makes Miru worth experiencing at least once. Located on the top floor of Pier 57, the views are absolutely stunning and create a beautiful atmosphere for lunch or dinner.
My friend and I ordered Unagi, Hamachi, and Crispy Rice. Everything tasted good and was well presented, but the portions were surprisingly small for the price. While the quality was there, I left feeling like the value just didn’t match the cost.
If you’re coming for the views or celebrating a special occasion, you’ll probably enjoy it. Personally, I don’t see myself returning because I couldn’t justify the portion-to-price ratio, even though the food itself was enjoyable.
