Rude host who gave the water! When we were leaving, asked us if we paid or not! Unprofessional behavior!

This restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. Lovely views. Nice ambience. Huge space. Comfortable seating arrangements. Our server was cool but the manager (assuming that’s her title) Devin was AMAZING. She provided us with great service and checked in numerous times to make sure that we were okay and that we liked what we ordered. She even offered to comp items off our bill that took extremely long to come out. She was so sweet and accommodating without even being asked. GET THE BURGER ! Our server recommended it and he did not lie. It’s amazing !!!!!! The Japanese whiskey drink was very strong. If you like sweet and strong mixed together this is for you (I didn’t like it). The matcha ice cream w/ cake dessert was another hit. If you’re a matcha girly like I am, give it a go. The kids enjoyed the sushi as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation and were seated immediately. We also weren’t rushed to leave after being there for like 2 hours lol. Great spot.

Wine was $50 for two glasses and had sediment at the bottom of the glass. Low quality vineyard.

Excellent presentation and flavor. The portions are small, but the flavor experience more than makes up for it. The staff is very attentive; the space is spacious, modern, and very clean. Good music and a view of a little island—excellent.

Good wine, a fantastic view, but atrocious—and frankly substandard—service (poor management?) at Miru, the rooftop bar at Pier 57, NYC. We enjoyed a good Pinot Noir on the terrace as the sun was setting... BUT: 1) the wine glasses were not clean at all; 2) it was the right wine, but the wrong vintage; 3) the server needed four attempts—and a lot of fumbling—just to uncork the bottle (had she ever practiced that before?); 4) there was no opportunity to taste the wine first; 5) you don't hold a wine bottle by the neck when pouring; 6) a glass of wine is filled less full than a glass of lemonade; and 7) we had to wait quite a while just to place our order, let alone to actually get the wine on the table. Thanks to the wine, however, I’m still giving it one star.
