  Clearly whomever oversees this location in Bloomingdale could give a crap about customer satisfaction. Only 3 stools to sit on at a counter that could seat 6🤔 Then again, why should they even care?🙄 Coffee attendant with a perpetual scowl continuously fills cup to the very top causing unnecessary spills.. Can you say passive aggressive🤔 Why is it that the unhappiest people work in jobs that should bring joy..like serving dessert 😔

  On 7/18/26 I went to the Bloomingdale’s in manhattan which has a Magnolia bakery on the first floor. I arrived 15 minutes before the store opened. I walk into the Magnolia section to take a seat at one of the 3 empty stools. A customer walked in ordered and left with her order. The woman behind the register asked “Can I help you”, I told her I’m going to order after I pick up my package from Bloomingdale’s, she nod. 3 customers walked in ordered and took their order and stood by the Bloomingdale’s gate which had not open yet. Again the woman behind the register yells out “Can I help you” again I told her I’m going to order a few banana pudding’s on my way out because I didn’t want to carry it into Bloomingdale’s plus it could possibly melt. She yells out the seats are for customers buying something there’s was a sign there but I don’t know what happened to it. I told her if a customer came in and wanted to sit down I would gladly get up, (there’s still 2 empty seats) again she nodded and walked away. A few more customers came in got their order and left, for the 3rd time she yelled out “Can I help you” this all in a matter of 10mins. Now I’m annoyed because I feel like she’s trying to embarrass me. Again I repeat my intentions to which she replied l didn’t know that’s what you meant, you can’t sit there unless you’re buying something. I looked at her and just shook my head and said no problem I’m just gonna go stand near the gate and wait for the store to open it was 9:55am. I went inside of Bloomingdale’s once the store opened to retrieve my order. I went back to the first floor to Magnolia bakery and bought a few banana pudding just like I said I would. The rude employee was no longer at the register she was lingering around the back area. Had she been at the register still I was gonna tell her I didn’t appreciate her harassing me like that when no customer was even trying to sit in that area. I was gonna let her know you never know what a person is going through you should show grace and kindness. I’m currently going through cancer treatments and I can never stand for a long period of time. I’ve been to that location numerous times and never had a problem until today. I won’t be buying anything else from Magnolia bakery anymore. My family told me I shouldn’t buy anything after that kind of treatment.
