    Locals live in constant fear that this place will blow up among tourists. It serves pizza with a phenomenal taste, which is the secret behind its surprisingly low review count. Hands down the best pizza in Nyc in my book.

    Had two nights in NY, tried LTD Pizza one night and Lucia’s the other night and LTD was far better. it all starts with the dough and LTD really nailed theirs, whereas Lucia’s was too dense and dry. Both places had good ingredients and staff though.

    If you have bad experience, try it again, which I did. I still got the same results. When I came in, this place was not even remotely busy in the least. They had one person waiting for pizza and another table in the back. We sat at the bar. The server/bartender dropped off menu to us, and then took forever to come back to us. We had to ask to place out order. The pizza, was absoultely nothing in the least to write home about. The sauce was completely tasteless, and thick. Thick like they tried to use flour or cornstarch to thicken it up. The crust/dough for sure did not taste like it was fresh. I could not get the server attention, but he seemed to spend his time at the cashier area, talking where there was a blonde employee. I had to get up to get Normally I agree with the score. But, to think that the score was that high, must have had some owner/management change. I could never recommend this place to anyone.

    Great pizza - I had the special which was pepperoni with basil, fresh ricotta and hot honey. Cute spot and you can eat just outside as long as you don't order alcohol. The olive oil cake was simple and delish as well. I would definitely go here again!
