After enjoying a beer and an old fashioned around the corner at Deacon Brodie’s, we noticed a few tables under the scaffolding on 9th Ave and came in. Sure it’s hot. Sure there are only nine counter seats and zero tables. But behind the counter there is a family (I believe) of four very hard working, friendly people, making the most delicious cheeseburgers (!) and fries you can imagine, at unbelievably reasonable prices. What a find.
