John’s pizza is hands down my favorite pizza place in NY! I love the crispy crust and the sauce is to die for. We think about this pizza all the time even when we aren’t in New York. It was recommended to us by my cousin who lived in the city for a few years. The atmosphere is also so cool because it’s in an old church. And the cherry on top is the single mom story that is told on the back of the menu. What an all star hero she is. Simply amazing.

If you are looking for a spot around Times Square this is hands down the best in the area. The atmosphere is fantastic because the restaurant is built right into a beautiful old church so the decor and vibe are totally unique. The staff is incredibly nice and makes you feel right at home. The pizza itself is really good and they do not skimp on the options since there are lots of toppings available. They also serve a solid menu of pasta and appetizers if you want to mix things up. It is a great place to sit down and relax right in the middle of the city.

I was here today 5/15 to eat lunch I won a $100 from my favorite radio station q104.3 after getting my Workforce block chosen.. so I want to thank them a lot for that 🙏🙏 but I ordered A pizza Chicken Alfredo and mozzarella wedges the food was very good and the waiter was very nice… the place is big and it looks fancy and nice… In general I enjoyed my meal here and the service was good… and I have to thank the radio station q104.3 for giving me this $100 gift card to eat here

John’s Pizzeria in Times Square was absolutely fantastic. The place itself was large, spectacular, and fun, with a classic New York feel that made the whole experience even better. The pizza was traditional New York style at its best, and honestly one of the best pies I’ve ever had.
I’d take coal- or wood-fired pizza like this any day. We kept it simple with a straight-up pepperoni pie, and it was fantastic: great crust, excellent flavor, and exactly what you hope for from a classic NYC pizza spot. Highly recommend.

On our first day NYC we decided to eat a pizza at this restaurant. Great location and atmosphere. Seats/tables were quit old, and demolished. They have to refurbish this in my opinion. We had to wait around 15 minutes for a table, but we were invited to have a drink at the bar which was all very relaxed.
Staff is very friendly. Had some starters at first. Calamaris and garlic bread were decent. Good portions and fresh.
Pizza’s were extremly good as well. We expected the margharita pizza to have more cheese on it, but it was all good.
It is a great place to have some fast dinner. It is crowded, very American and quit old fashioned, but the friendly staff, delicious food made this negative points become obscured.
