    ⭐ 1/5 — Extremely Disappointing First Experience TOOK A BITE OF THE SANDWICH AND LITERALLY IMMEDIATELY STARTED FEELING SICK TO MY STOMACH LIKE I WAS GOING TO VOMIT. THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO VISIT THIS STORE ASAP 🤮🤢 I was genuinely looking forward to trying Jimmy John’s for the first time ever, and unfortunately this will probably be my last. My wife ordered me the #5 Little John this morning, and I told her add mayo and bacon. Somehow, they apparently took that to mean REMOVE THE SALAMI AND CAPOCOLLO literally two of the main meats that are supposed to come on the sandwich. I have no idea how adding bacon and mayo results in removing the meat I actually ordered. Then I opened the sandwich and saw the lettuce. 🤢 It looked old, soggy, wilted, and like it had been sitting around for way too long. The entire sandwich was thrown together so sloppily that it genuinely looked like whoever made it had absolutely zero care about what they were serving. It was basically giving “just throw it in the wrapper and get it out of here.” For my FIRST Jimmy John’s experience, this was horrible. I was excited to finally try it and ended up wondering why I didn’t just order Subway like I originally planned. I’ve never ever received a sandwich from Subway looking this careless and unappetizing. And the location doesn’t help the experience whatsoever. East 125th Street has to be one of the roughest possible locations they could’ve chosen for this restaurant. That’s why I ordered online I didn’t even want to risk walking over there and god forbid something happens over there. The immediate surrounding area has persistent issues with open drug use, disorder, and homelessness, and there’s a shelter nearby. The environment outside already makes the experience unpleasant, so you would at least expect the food and service inside to make up for it. Instead, I walked away with a sloppy sandwich, missing meat, and soggy-looking lettuce. To top everything off, my pasta was served in a DUNKIN’ CONTAINER. 😭 I understand there’s a Dunkin’ operating in the same shared location, but seriously… I ordered food from Jimmy John’s, so why am I opening a container branded for an entirely different restaurant? No love. No presentation. Missing ingredients. Soggy looking lettuce. Bland plain boring looking bread. Just an absolute disappointment. NEVER AGAIN. 👎🏽

    They don't take their time to read the tickets and they never up front to make the sandwich they be in the back so even if you order ahead prepare to wait . Didn't toast my sandwich so I gave it back pretty sure he toasted it with the lettuce on it even after the bread was toasted it was soggy b.c the other stuff was already on it . Paid for extra bacon didn't feel like extra bacon 😒 22 bucks for what ?? Idk

    Jimmy Johns was good to me. I came in and ordered, created content for my channel @PaletteToPlateEats everywhere mostly active on TikTok, handed me a small menu, and were very courteous. This is East Harlems first ever Jimmy Johns location and although the area aint the best, I hope it holds on. My sandwich was good. Jimmy Johns and Dunkin are owned by Inspire Brands who made the decision to pair JJ and Dunkin together in a lot of locations, and no 125th street isn't exclusive to this pairing, for locations in Midtown also are done in this matter.

    I'm writing this review mostly out of hanger. And that's the problem. If the sandwich were any spacer, I would have done better eating bread and butter. Where's the meat? And why is the bread so bland? Maybe you should rebrand to Slimmy John's.
